Wopelka: Fly away

Not what I usually listen to, but well recorded. It’s not my cup of tea. Sorry.

Earth Tones: Tiny Grief

I find the music very catchy, but I don’t like the sound of the voice. The composition is good. It’s catchy. The lyrics are good, and the melody of the lyrics is really good. I would just have someone else sing that part, sorry.

Emerald Tablet: Witchcraft

Very nice intro. Nice and clean sounding. Well mixed. Very atmospheric. Simple but good. I’m not too big on spoken word though. If you like spoken word and electro, you might like a buddy of mine’s music. The name of the band is “Think Twice” and the record was recently released under F Communications label. The record is called “under the bombs”. I think you might like it, if you are into this sort of thing…

Patrick 9: Bird on the Wing

I like this a lot. The synth sounds used are very nice. This is a nice relaxing piece. I would listen to it while reading a book, or something. I thought the voice was so so.

Eric Bourne: Sunk

It won’t stream right now, but I will download it to listen again. I listened to it already when you first posted it and I liked it a lot, especially the intro.

Thomas DK: Odd

I didn’t really like this in the beginning but it grew on me a little. I really like the brass sounds in the background ( is it brass? ) and the spooky synths.

Bl1tz: Starless City

Nice breaks. I didn’t like the synth sounds that sounded like a baby crying, but I like the other synth. Conclusion: I would like it way more without the crying baby synth. It’s a little too repetitive too. Sounds like it’s looping over and over again

Donkey Tugger: Wrong.

It wouldn’t stream. I’ll have to download later.

I grew up around Jazz ( My dad started collecting Jazz records when he was 14 ). Big props to you. Very nice piece.

Thanks Pheeleep! Much appreciated. I had fun working on it. I could not believe the number of plugins I had running in Fruity all at once with a fair bit of effects automation too- they pushed my P4 PC right to its limits at 10 ms latency - very cool indeed.

Cheers,
Gordon

Oh I believe you. You didn't have to render at all? I usually get 23 ms with my project. I have an echo Mona, I love it, but the latest ASIO drivers for it don't work at 11ms most of the time. Oh well. I use Fl Studio as well. Gotta love it.

I sampled all my dad's Jazz records by the way a few years back ( just little snippets that I wanted ), so I listend to all his records. I spent about 1 month listening to his records, locked in a room with a turntable. It was a samplists dream :D I have all these old beats that use some of these samples in my Akai MPC 2000. One day I will load them back up, and if I get to making mp3's out of them, I'll let you know. I incorporated some of the samples into hip hop beats.

I wish. No, that's the flute that came with the EXS24.

Thank you (and thanks to all the reviewers) for listening and commenting.
