I'm not sure this is actually worth worrying about. The beta release was to test 64 bit builds, I think the idea is the early teething troubles there are done, and we're back to new releases. New releases will always change things, and changes occasionally cause issues. The current beta is older than the latest stable release.
Install the latest version, report issues, they'll get fixed. That's the idea, i think.
