^^^^ this.

It would definitely help.

So far I've only got a few spikes while switching between samples. The sounds this thing can make...wow!!!

Hi Davias,

Just checking: did you load a sample with the "file" button? I took a moment to realise this and so at first I had no sound either. To get started, just load in any bass drum or snare sample that you can quickly find and see if that let's you make some noise. C and C# (any octave) will then trigger the sample to play.

Hi Rurik,

Stoooner is working fine in Cubase 7.0.4 (64 bit) /Windows 7 (64 bit). Does not seem too hard on the cpu. I did not observe any cpu spikes when changing parameters. I let Cubase's built-in bitbridge do the bridging and it was OK. I also used JBridge to do the job and that was OK.

Also worked fine in Cantabile Lite 2.0. (32 bit Cantabile)

Thank you for your work.

Hi thank you for the help, I managed to make it sound yesterday but didn't post yet.

I like the vst, can make really interesting sounds, and cpu load is 1% on my machine with short samples nice. I have a little bit hard to understand the gui ^^ So I'm not really sure what I'm doing for now :D

Hey xoxos

Ignore my email asking about more voices....downloaded straight from your email, so didn't see the intro blurb here!

CPU load seems reasonable so far, and no bugs found yet (after about an hour of messing). I'm on FLStudio 11, btw.

Loving the glitchy stretchyness this thing can do.

Thumbs up from me!
Q. Why is a mouse when it spins?
A. The higher the fewer.

Glad to hear that you can use it now. I know what you mean about "not really sure what I'm doing for now". It's going to take a while to figure this all out. :)

downloaded me too and will try, thanks :)

though the exact output of enhancing a file isn't exactly predictable, it becomes known that it raises the levels of quieter parts of the signal (i discovered a group of stereo samples i had were previously mono stereoised by a flanging function elicited by bringing up the noise floor).

the smear and other phase related functions take more experience as there are more variables. in short i'd say, slight amounts create a bit of dispersion that sound a bit like reverb or increasing the size of resonant spaces, like if you add a touch of it to an 808 snare it sounds more acoustic imo.

when the phase starts to wrap around with high smearing, any setting of the smear knob starts to approach randomness on the temporality of the signal, especially in stereo. it can be luck of the draw if any of this works with the sample, most can be guaranteed to at least be stretched into a flat chunk of noise to be reshaped.

it does sound as if there are no major issues with the implementation, anyway :) i'll do a video which ought to help. leaving this w/e for the brave, if you're wondering where yours is already.

Any idea concerning the release date and the price of this amazing toy ?

EDIT : Facing some serious crashes on Live 8 (win7, 64bit, Live 8 32 bit).
Only two instances in a session and when I reopened it the units don't produce sound anymore. When I try to copy/paste them, Live crashes. Also lot of cpu peaks and drop noises when turning pitch and env knobs.

anyone else had issues reopening song files? none here in eXT2.

This work just fine, in Vitsa x32. :) And is a great, idea. Great work, dude!

Wow now when I open my session and hit the space bar to play it, it completely crashes Live ! I also noticed that it doesn't sound the same when I reopen the project, it's like it's not the same tweakings...The only way I found to get rid of that is by a cut/paste of the units.

can't wait to check it out later tonight

I've tested it in REAPER and had no problems.

It's a great effect unit! First I loaded some drum samples, whooooaaaahhh...and then I tried it with several short vocals -- insane! It makes all kind of robotic/vocoder/horror effects! :o

And I kinda like this enigmatic GUI - I only have to adjust some parameters and get new sound effects without caring about what all these options mean...

Thanks for another crazy Xoxos sound effect machine! :D
