Hey fellas I just wanted to get the word out about an app I'm involved in called SquareSynth. It's an "8bit" synthesizer, but a bit more powerful. It lets you design and record layers of 8bit sound, then export via clipboard or itunes.

These are the specs..

- Authentic 8-bit Sounds

- Polyphonic

- Pure bandlimited waveforms.

- Looping wave recorder.

- Core Midi support

- Pulse, Short Noise, and Long Noise waveform types

It took me a while to figure out the best way to do that, among other desicions. It will be added soon. I also had a thought to add custom wave forms. What about that? It's a fair question though.

Hey just wanted to give an update. The new version has Core Midi and is now available. In the next couple weeks I will release an update with the aforementioned 4-bit triangle, and AudioBus.

Here's something I made using Midi from Cubasis to SquareSynth. It's also got the triangle wave worked in there.
