Xils are still on the iLok1 aren't they? Probably the cheapest way is to pick one up from someone who has had to get an iLok2 and can just post their old one to you locally.

Does this work with iLok2 as well? If I'm going to get a dongle, I might as well get one that will work with the majority of other products. I assume the iLok2 is backwards compatible?

im curious, who said that, and where did they say that? Do you have a link?Given that nobody knew which was which, they were guessing (either a complete guess or an educated guess) how could anyone say V+ was 'more analog' ?

Given that the hardware IS analogue, it seems anyone who thinks a digital plugin sounds 'more analog' has hearing problems, as its physically impossible.

the correct phrase would have been something like 'V+ sounds almost as analogue as the original' or ' V+ sounds so close to the original i couldnt tell the difference'
