My fingers and toes are currently crossed that the testers won't report any nasties with the current betas.jumper24 wrote:Any 64bit news ??

Btw has there been any feature request to allow the user to mark some patches as favourites?
That and 64bit are my only negatives of this wonderful sounding synth.

There are four memory buttons, which give you 8 memories (click or shift+click) for favourites.zvenx wrote:Thanks, looking forward to it.JonHodgson wrote:yupzvenx wrote:oh nice.......is it both mac and pc platforms in beta?

For a bigger pool of favourites you should probably be using folders on the drive.
However if you have other ideas, let me know, and I'll consider them for the future.

I have grown to really like u-he's system..
you right click over a preset in the browser and you can make favourite (or unmake favourite)... it puts an asterisk next to the preset name, so when you have a bunch of presets you are looking at for a category you can easily tell which are your favourites.
So in each category, say Bass here, I have ticked off my favourite ones.. right clicking over a non favourite gives you an option to make it a favourite, and vice versa.

which to me would work well in your browser

I wish imposcar2 had an better output control.
I get great sounds using it without unison mode, but the level is too low.
I then end up using a unison mode just to boost the output level.
Of course this being after the master output is all the way up, and the drive is also set high. Still get low levels.
I also have some other issue with the aftertouch settings functioning without me actually pressing down on my keys using the aftertouch at all.
I have the latest version, and it still gets the same problems as before.
Shifting output levels over time. Aftertouch issues, and levels too low.
No crashes anymore though.

Have you reported these issues?mcnoone wrote:I wish imposcar2 had an better output control.

I've had no other reports of aftertouch issues. Are you sure it's the imp itself? It should only respond to aftertouch messages sent to it, if it's changing without receiving any messages, then that's a bug, and I'd appreciate an example, ideally with a demo project, however I'd first verify that your keyboard isn't being too sensitive and sending aftertouch messages when you don't think it should be, I can't do anything about that.
Similarly, shifting output levels over time is not something I've had reported to me, though some have complained about the absolute levels.

The problem was happening before with my old midi controller, and now with a new controller of the same make. It only seems to happen when doing sounds for it after long work periods, and a quitting out then restarting Live is necessary to make it stop. The AT problem only seems to happen on certain patches, while not on all, with AT settings. I'm using the mac 32bit version in Live8.6.2 btw.

Quiet Late for this party, But I love it!It went a little under the radar unfortunately, but maybe it's time to get some hype going again. ImpOSCar 1 was great, but ImpOSCar 2 is (still) awesome!
Cuz this is not EDM-toward synth.
It is a just classy, analogy synth.
It's matter of taste, but most people do EDM stuff these day.
For example, i'm not satisfied with serum, soundwise. It's just ok-ish synth for me. But i'm completely satisfied with diva, oddity, imposcar, soundwise.
But Serum is a winner on the market.
