I disagree. I think the chorus is great.

rockstar_not wrote:Keep at it - way better than I was doing at 17. Call yourself a musician, songwriter, etc. I just cringe when I see someone calling themselves a 'producer', when the underlying skills of composition, songwriting, arranging, etc. all need work. This 'producer' word has been abused over the past 5 years.
Given the advances in keyboard workstations and computer based recording, the music producer term has expanded to include the so called**BEDROOM PRODUCER** many people don't use the term: "I'm a bedroom producer" to describe themselves.

No need to cringe unless someone claims to be a traditional record producer working for a label. Cringing is for old men that's out of touch with the trends that need no explanation.

Seriously though... what does it take to produce these typical cookie cutter pop and rap songs anyway? Only takes a one man/woman band to produce. Out of curiosity... what label should they give themselves?

In all fairness "producer" also kinda sounds icky to me these days. It's just taken too much abuse. A producer produces a product. Most of us that care about music know we're not dealing with products here. We're explorers, and we bring back artifacts from our travels and share them. But don't listen to me, I'm eccentric. It's best to be normal :hihi:

p.s. I'm a produca, this is my sampla, I make urban music and call people I don't know "mate" and am generally irritating, and I call instrumentals "beats" :help:

The thread title is a parody. He doesn't normally call himself a producer.

Great tune, impressive. I would love for the vocals to have a bit more bite, bit more confident, raw or something. You know how to write songs though, great job! :tu:

+1 to this being better than Madeon (16) from London.

Oh wow, thanks for all the positivity! Especially normal's interjection, still a little taken aback. And that Tricky-Loops knows where I live.

Anyways I agree with the comment about the vocals, I can't seem to do a good amount of "bite" once I hit the record button. It's a problem. I can nail it in the shower (figuratively speaking...) but once there's a mic in front of me I worry too much about being on pitch and lose a lot of attitude. I appreciate the attention to the songwriting, though; this was a more writing-driven song than an energy-driven one.

PS: After I'm done producin beats wit my sampla I pahk at a restrant and eat some chowda.
