Hopefully IKM will fire their entire marketing team, and replace them with a russian spam syndicate so we can get a freaking break.

A bionic arm so they can be even better at patting themselves on the back?
It's hard to imagine anything topping their app that tells you which cables to buy though- they probably should have just quit after that.

Awwww shucks, thanks. Not everybody can be as savvy and smart as you about all things audio so I understand how you'd have such feelings toward an app that serves people that are so far below you. One of the top questions we were asked was what cable people could use to connect the top iOS guitar interface with the top iOS guitar gear/amp sim app (oops there goes that bionic arm again!) to their various output devices so there was a need and we have a free app to help. Glad that the KVR populace (or a subset that loves to hate us) doesn't have time for such low-brow questions... We don't do things randomly or without research (hence the resulting success), and yes we market some of the top iOS music apps (consistently top-ranking for YEARS) very well, and that seems to upset a couple of people as we can see here, but I don't think it is wrong to do something right, nor to be proud of it in the face of a vocal minority that some sort of issue with our success in the iOS music app and accessory field.Aural Chaos wrote:A bionic arm so they can be even better at patting themselves on the back?

If we've done something to personally offend you to the level of being completely rude toward us for no reason, feel free to PM me to talk about it like grown ups. If not, that's fine - you have a fantastic day worrying about what we do and I hope it doesn't get you too upset since you've been able to vent here.

One more guess then:
A thicker skin for hanging out here at KVR??

Just because I countered with a factual explanation doesn't mean there's thin skin involved. Nice excuse for acting pretty petty and rude, though. Have a thicker skin about being called on it with facts, perhaps? I've been hanging out here at KVR long enough, I dont' need your assessment, there are plenty of veterans that know my history here and I appreciate their friendship and respect.Aural Chaos wrote:One more guess then:

Either way, that's enough about that. Throw your barbs into a vacuum from here on in. Anybody actually have any guesses/interest? Personally, I think it is pretty obvious with regard to at least one thing but I haven't seen that from places with people that concentrate on guessing, discussing, or following the "if you have nothing nice to say" principle so maybe I can't step back from knowing what we're teasing.

An app that sends you spam about how great the product really is, if you need support?
Or an app, presented by Jordan Rudess, on how to market the hell out of mediocre apps?

I'd like to see better brass, special efx, 12 string guitars that sound like 12 string guitars, much better ep's...I think that's it for me
On a personal note, if I don't want to read something I just don't freaking read it! some of us are interested and if it's spam at least some of us still learn from it. I see no value in being rude...

Hey that sounds great... we'll have to take note, since we do have our own high-tech factory and all.Breeze wrote:A device that will provide ..?.. and ..?.. with ..?.., ..?.. and ..?.., and allow for a ..?.. to directly ..?.. and ..?.. to a ..?.. with sample-accurate timing, MIDI and 96kHz/24bit connectivity, and allow simultaneous charging of the iOS device for under $50?

Ralph from Rayzoon said that JamStix for iOS is planned. No time frame unfortunately.BiancaNeve wrote:Something in the vein of JamStix would be cool
I have SampleTank for iOS and for the PC. Lovely sounding app/VSTi. Looking forward to what IKM comes out with next.

Right, we're not likely going into that territory at this time but there will be one that I think is a fantastic tool (well both are) and on top of that there is some gear for iRig HD users that will make them very happy!

---I bet you really don't have anything new or you would tell us right now! If you had something new you'd say so just so we'd not be buying anything else in the meantime. If you do have something new it's probably a new car that you bought or maybe a new television for yourself. Yep, it's all a bunch of hogwash you don't have anything new coming out or you'd tell us!
