What stuff is this you talk of? Where can i get some of this stuff?

Only the stuff that's too addictive to stop using. That's the only stuff worth using. You can get it only from people who really love/d making it more than doing business.

As you get better with production vst's matter less and less. However there are still good ones and great ones and much exploring to do!

Nothing wrong with GAS.
Better than collecting stamps. As long you are enjoying them, your money are well spent and also supports the developers.

And then as you get even better still you might allow yourself to have as many VSTs as you can afford because you realize you can take almost any synth on

I think what's weird about KVR is that you get to talk about your addiction and feed it at the same time. It's like going to an AA meeting where they pass out booze. Oh wait, this isn't the AA meeting, this is the pub. My bad.
