I receive an elicenser Control error stating there's no valid license for this application upon loading the plugin. I thought the demo did not require a dongle. Demo installer must contain the wrong files.

Thats weird. Did you update your Elicencer with the latest drivers ? ( Not that it makes sense anyway but ........ )

Does someone else have the same behaviour ? Maybe theres an error and this is a full version build.

Anyway this will be fixed asap.

EDIT : I wonder if the link does not lead to the FULL FEATURE-TIME LIMITED windows demo, and in this case you need to request a licence number.


There are two demo versions : One wich requires a dongle and is time limited, and another one with is dongle free, but has limited features : •No preset or project saving. •No bank import or export. •No automation.•No time limit

Yes so a VST version, and a VSTI version ( For Windows users ). To use the Vocoder you must use the effect version AND, you can still mix the vocoder feed by voice or synths etc etc, layered with the String Machine and/or the Choir.

You can listen to audio exemples of the Vocoder in this page : http://www.xils-lab.com/pages/XILS-V%252b_Audio.html

To use the Vocoder ib Cubase for example, just insert the effect version on a vocal track. Then set another instrument track and set the midi to feed the V+ input : Playing ion your Midi keyboard you will now hear the Vocoder alone, or any combination of Vocoder + Strings + Human Voices + internal reverb, Ensemble, Phaser, Stereo tool etc etc.

Seems to be a mixmatch in the installers, this is the Elicencer one. This will be fixed asap Rascass ( Probably tomorrow ). There is no link on the Xils site for the Windows DEMO version atm.

Can this be used as a vocoder with an other synth, and not the built in synth?

Also, the non protected demo for the Mac will not finish instal.

Hi DW, yes of course, you can feed the input with a real voice, in real time, or already recorded. Or a synth. Or a drum machine. There are a lot of audio examples on Xils site, covering most of the cases : http://www.xils-lab.com/pages/XILS-V%252b_Audio.html

Actually the T.O.D String Machine and the -synthetic- Human Voices are more there to be used separately, or blended/layered with the vocoder fed by external signals, and not to feed the Vocoder input. The sound of an era
