Either free or paid. I need to be able to just put in random vocals on loop projects for tests so anything sorted by key and BPM for quick use would be awesome.

Not necessarily full length acapella songs, just one shots or loops would be fine.

The Audiogrocery ORPHEUS - Phrases vocal sample library syncs to BPM and the loops are available in any key plus some extra suites which offer you to compose polyphony using loops etc. The ultimate SSE allows you to create new phrases or articulations from the existing ones etc. There are two downloadable HD demo videos in the site.

We have 2 available. The first one features Veela and focuses on shorter hooks and adlibs and is recorded at 128bpm. The second, featuring Cory Friesenhan, focuses on longer sections and is recorded at 135bpm.

Both are all labelled with correct keys and feature tons of extras. Check out the video demos on each product page to get a better idea of how they sound.

The singers are amazing, but how well would they hold up with either pop background vocals and at the same time be used for ethereal or choir-like projects?

Both packs have a wide selection of both pop style phrases and long held tones so they should both hold up well in those genres.
