"Brood X (Magicicada septendecim)" by me (I mean You™)
The particular outbreak of 17-year cicadas we are experiencing in the southeastern US are called Brood X. The giant bugs get louder and louder outside every day. It sounds like… (well, you can kind of tell, they’re in my song) …but en masse they sound like the phasers on the old Star Trek TV show. You know when they would fire the phasers continuously to melt something? Well the cicadas sound like that all day long. And they get louder and louder! I’m grateful to all the people who took the time to make comments about my song. I’m sure Beck gets indigestion every time someone compares me to him, but it makes me feel good. Thanks for the comments. I don't remember exactly, but I think the weird vocal samples are part of the extra software package that came bundled with the Audiophile 2496 I got just recently. The sounds package is on a disc labelled "Pro-Sessions," with, it appears, examples from 17 different volumes.

Donkey Tugger - Wrong
Nice intro!It's mixed well except that the cymbals could be tamed a little. I don't think the voice works for the earlier part of the song, but I like the voice a lot in the last part. Good mixing overall! I enjoyed listening to it.

Warbug - one hip hop remix

Nice vocals! the ryhthm is tight, but the foreground synth is a little too much at times. The mixing is club perfect and it has the bubububump.

I dig it, especially the intro. It hit me pretty hard when the synths hit, but I presume that was the point. I can hear it slowed down a bit, and it sounds nice!

It reminds me of the olympic games of 2150. And at the same time, it is 80ish groove techno. For this tune, I would love to hear the voice more throughout the song. Cool ambience!

Cool mando-mixing! The tupac thing works good in this mix, but it's been done before (by tupac). Nonetheless, this song was my favorite out of the first listening session, props!
