Yeah I think a 2nd ilok would be the only (costly) option.
Anyone notice some of the presets in Clariphonic don't appear to change any parameters?
Thought we would see the presets in menu included in the new ubk release
None the less, minor details for two superb plugins.

yeah, i was talking about the clariphonic.
nomad and plug n mix have those enhancers called claritone and clarisoniq.
both copy the names of the knobs of the kush clariphonic plugins (focus, clarity), so i guess they wanted to reference the original. obviously i thought they would effect my sounds the same.

Yes. I got rid of all my ilok protected plugins but the UBK-1, I can't mix without it.Rah wrote:Ahhhh, that UBK-1 sounds really nice. Nice enough to consider Ilok...?

Theo, did you notice this.. that they took the wording from the kush one? strange innit?cyphersuit wrote:yeah, i was talking about the clariphonic.

edit: then again, they also sweeten the high end (clarity-buttons).

Apparently their future plans is to include a universal preset handring system for these plugins but after they release a third first (or so I read something like that in gearslutz).TheoM wrote:I'm late to the party but apparently they are preset placeholders with no preset data. Very poor design choice IMO. Also the UBK has tons of actual working presets but they forgot to include them in the latest mac installer. Greg said he'd fix this, but I haven't seen anything yet.(I could be wrong).MFXxx wrote:Yeah I think a 2nd ilok would be the only (costly) option.

Well something I've discovered with UBK is you don't need presets.ZINO wrote:Apparently their future plans is to include a universal preset handring system for these plugins but after they release a third first (or so I read something like that in gearslutz).TheoM wrote:I'm late to the party but apparently they are preset placeholders with no preset data. I find if used correctly you will always be tweaking to the sweet spot of any given audio strip and it will not be the same for another.
...and I certainly am looking forward to the hat-trick from the House of Kush.
