Yeah the voice in the video has a really cool morphing effect. I don't know how he created that.Syntilla wrote:Synthetic?Endor-8o8 wrote:Hey Xoxos, can you tell me how did you create that synthetic voice please ?

Well, if that's not his normal voice ...Endor-8o8 wrote:Hey Xoxos, can you tell me how did you create that synthetic voice please ?
... next best guess would be Sifft (DC12).
I'm not much good at guessing, though.

I was asking because he might have used one of his plugs...so if a Xoxos plug is able to do that kind of process I'd interested in knowing which one !Syntilla wrote:Well, if that's not his normal voice ...Endor-8o8 wrote:Hey Xoxos, can you tell me how did you create that synthetic voice please ?

Sifft is a xoxos plug. Listen to the MP3 demo on the DC12 page. Even if it's not what he used in the video, I think you're going to like it!Endor-8o8 wrote:I was asking because he might have used one of his plugs...so if a Xoxos plug is able to do that kind of process I'd interested in knowing which one !Syntilla wrote:Well, if that's not his normal voice ...Endor-8o8 wrote:Hey Xoxos, can you tell me how did you create that synthetic voice please ?

I was trying it but it crashed Live 8 and now it doesn't want to work anymore. I had also problems with running Stoooner, seems like my Ableton doesn't really like Xoxos products...

i wasn't going to answer your question because then you would have your own curiosity about tts options, but now i remember what i did -
original signal (tts to 11kHz file) may or may not have been formant shifted. it was upsampled and filtered. the "morphing effect" is a random lfo on pitch to replace the algorithm's prosody with something fresher.

you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.
