Ummppfff - where did you get it for that price!jdoo wrote:So ... for ~ $140... the full Korg Legacy suite, and a very useful controller.

For $50... I picked up the NanoKey2 USB midi keyboard. I plan to use it on-the-go with my iPad, or when I am traveling with my Macbook Air. It easily beats using the keyboard controller in Logic, for quick capture of beats or tunes.
Korg has a $10 rebate going on on their nano controller series -- so the nanoKey2 is really $40.
There is also an upgrade sale going on - which allows nano controller owners to get the full Korg Legacy software suite for $99.00. This includes:
Korg M1 with all of the "Expansion card" sounds
Korg WaveStation with all RAM/ROM banks
Korg Mono/Poly
Korg PolySix
Korg MS-20
Korg's MDE-X Effects Suite
The $10 rebate is one of those mail-in ones. Details here.Examigan wrote:Do you have to get the NanoKey2 through the Korg site? Or is there another link you have to it that I can check out?

Heheh I gotta admit, I still totally love The Cross Of Changes by Enigma. One of my favorite go-to-sleep/sorta-meditate recordsTheoM wrote:Enya baby!cosmosis wrote:Wait, people still use those cheesy new age sounds?
But does it really matter how many items are in the kit if they are all subpar? I'm not saying they are, but what I am asking is shouldn't quality matter over quantity?BBFG# wrote:To be fair, you get 9-10 products with the KLC update (3 AAS Session players & Toontrack EZ drummer Lite). Which would make them $14 per module. (With a free controller).UltimateOutsider wrote:If you pay full retail for NI Komplete 9 you get 34 instruments, effects, and sound packs for around $16 USD apiece.
Komplete 9 Ultimate gives you 65 separate products for around $17 apiece.
So in terms of price-per product, I think that edges out the 6-products-for-$140 proposition in the OP.
KLC is a great and unique collection though. Well worth it.
Sweet, I'm thinking about doing this with the microkey 37. The 61 is a great deal also, but it doesn't look as convenient/portable. I already have a 49-key controller (normal keys).sprnva wrote:The $10 rebate is one of those mail-in ones. Details here.Examigan wrote:Do you have to get the NanoKey2 through the Korg site? With my MicroKey 25 I had to register the bundled copy of M1 LE. Then I qualified to buy the $99 Legacy Collection upgrade.
The MicroKey 61 has the full Legacy Collection bundled.
