Bug? I used some presets of Spire and modified some settings (Env/Cutoff/etc..). I didn't save the modified patches but the entire song in S1. Next day, I open the project and all my modified patches reverted to the original patch, my settings completely gone! Is this suppose to happen???

I see there is modulation automation on track "SY 303" - it does nothing here whatsoever. If I play the patch with modwheel - no changes. I can see in the Matrix there is some Modwheel assigned to cutoff_1, yet, no change in sound. Something's fishy here.

I didn't check automation, I just exported XML from cubase and converted to studio one so people who are interested can do performance testing. You'll also want to check sample rate and bit depth.

On my machine studio one performs close to and perhaps slightly better than cubase 7. And spire via jbridge outperforms the cubase VST bridge.

Yep, found a weird bug. Once I open the project, S1 asks me to switch from 96khz (my default setting) to 48khz. Bug: All Spire patches have the filter disabled by default on every instance, although they're set to acido (or anything else), filters do absolutely nothing! As soon I move the keytrack knob of any instance, the filter of this instance suddenly switches on:

Good for trance fans. Nothing else.

Maybe 1 or 2 updates before it's dead.

Some 'trance fans' have pretty high expectations actually!
Many 'trance fans' have £1000's worth of hardware trying to get a good sound. But I have to agree that this sounds like another softsynth and I couldn't find a demo to try either.

One thing I thought about recently was that all the comments on synths x, y & z are from people with different levels of experience, different speakers & and sound cards, not to mention different tastes!

If 500 people say a softsynth is amazing, best ever, true analogue(?) sound and all that it means nothing to me if those 500 people are listening to it on laptop speakers or even some low budget studio monitors and cheap soundcard and maybe they have only ever used softsynths. Maybe a few they have sour grapes too? lol

Some people can tell the softsynths from analogue synths and even from some VA hardware. Not that there aren't good softies, there are, I use mostly softsynths! haha :)

I'm just saying this because the audio demos I heard here don't sound amazing, but I would like to try a demo of it to see for myself.

with Attack and Release set to zero, you get a really nasty audible click sound...that needs sorting out.

Somewhat big letters?

Tiny little "download" text more like it (in comparison to other text). Quite a lot more obvious actually. How about the word DEMO or TRY IT NOW?

When quickly browsing one of the million million billion trillion websites on the net please excuse me if I missed a few tiny little download texts. The fact I missed it shows that at least one person didn't try their product and a potential sale was lost due to it not being obvious, THAT IS A FACT my friend. :P

Anyway, nothing against this synth, Good luck to the dev's. My opinion doesn't count for much anyway.

Enjoy making music whatever you use. 8)

No big deal , how many sites are like that though sylenth1's site has little download button on right I'd say spire's site are comparable to u-he's site. Alchemy does have a nice little demo button.

So I think we found somthing then.

Plugin makers, MAKE YOUR DEMO BUTTONS CLEAR! lol
