Which mistake? I can't see any mistake here! Seems to be a perfectly natural choice to me.Kondarivan wrote:Except one could easily fix the mistake?I will look into that, but seems it would be just as easy to select wrong songs there as points here?
Anyhow, I'm down to a shortlist of 25 tracks. Will let it sag a little and try to revive Rena at least for the voting decisions.
@ anonimous voting: I feel this new procedure is robbing me of some fun, suspense and also certain communicative aspects like talking about reviews. Just my 2 cents. Time will tell.
Have a nice day, you all. Good to be part of this great community.

I was thinking the same thing about reviews... It was nice seeing some comments.
Also it would be cool to have some way of giving eachother brutally honest critique and review

@RuediRena & bjporter

I feel the same about reviews. After all, the points/prizes matter as much as the process (I find OSC a splendid path [read that as motivation] of learning various synthesizers and electronic music production in general), and besides the process, the opinions. Of course, there are Soundcloud comments, however, I don't know why, it just doesn't feel the same.
But then again, prizes work too [:

Dear V'ger and OSC 52 participants:
I'd like to offer my Apology to V'ger for forgetting to list the host and effects. The reason was that I was thinking of the ET instead of KVR time deadline. My apology also to the OSC 53 participants for causing this inconvinience. I'am still waiting for V'ger decision and consideration. Thanks.

Yes secret voting is unusual but old-timers will know we had secret voting once before following a rules poll, but it was then voted out the next rules poll, so we'll see if the same happens this time too. But that was before SoundCloud comments got really hold I believe..
Some have expressed concern that with secret voting there might be more 'iffy' voting as votes are not under everyone's scrutiny anymore, but remember the results will still be published, it's just the voting itself that's secret.
@Gigue07: Check PM

@Kondarivan: Seems that type of dropdown form style is not doable in Google documents right now as far as I can see. But if I or anyone should find a better system it will of course be considered.

Due rushing towards the deadline, I made mistakes by not listing the host and effects used. I have participated before in OSC32, and was able to list those stuff properly, but that was long time ago. I was able also to upload, but now I forgot to do that in Soundcloud. But to be honest, I did not do this on purpose.
I wrote email asking for help.
Instead of having arguments with V'ger, I decided to withdraw.
Cheers,
g7

Participating in this was really fun and after listening to the first twenty or so entries voting is going to be difficult. It's exciting that there are so many great creative producers who participate, and while I'm late to the game, I have to say congratulations to everyone for so much great work. I'm really impressed with what the other producers were able to do with the synth, and curious as to how they managed to get some of the sounds. Is this an appropriate forum to ask specific questions to the other producers? The SoundCloud comments are ok, but they don't really feel like a dialog. Now that I've been able to dig into Podolski I would love to have a discussion about what I learned and hear from others what they learned.
Thanks for running the OSC!
Best regards,

I made an hour long video walkthrough of my project, but was informed that it's too long, so I need to make individual videos to make it 'watchable'.
If you have cubase 6 / 7 you can load my project to see what I did, and all my patches are for download in the Submissions thread.
