I just loaded Kent Armstrong silent P90's into my PRS SE Singlecut Soapbar. They sound excellent, like the original P90's only without the noise, and they're cheap!

I love my Suhr strat because there's no other strat that shreds harder. For a double humbucker/maple top instrument like the ones you linked to, though, I can't imagine them being much different from my Ibanez 3120.

btw, I recently picked up an Ibanez RG3620Z. I thought I'd prefer its neck position Air Zone over the 3120's PAF Pro but the 3120 is still my favorite shredder.

Just popped into my decrepit, cell depleted grey matter that if you two have not tried one or two of Vigier's Excaliber models for an insane super strat with all the shred any player would need along with the G.V models, Chris you say that your hands are small often, A Vigier would make that feeling disappear IMHO. If you can or happen to get a chance then maybe they have the guitar you need/been waiting for :)

We don't get any Vigier's around here. There was a time when I was completely awestruck by them after seeing Stanley Jordan live.
Dell Vostro i9 64GB Ram Windows 11 Pro, Cubase, Bitwig, Mixcraft Guitar Pod Go, Linntrument Nektar P1, Novation Launchpad

I have small hands too but I have never considered it a hindrance, I do notice that I tend play on top of the neck more while gripping the neck less. I think not grabbing the neck like wile e coyote grabbing a branch on the side of a cliff keeps my arm itself far more relaxed
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Looking into it. I was able to get back the entire amount in cash on that MM so I could keep it on my card, keep the 18mo no interest financing, and put the cash toward something like that. Then again I may just get rid of everything and do tarnce.

It's gotta be less painful that constantly buying/selling/buying/selling/ hoping and praying that THIS will be the one. I'm so fickle, what was once my uno ends up somewhere else :?

Post

For shredders, how about Rasmus Guthrie Govan? I've had a small crush on this one for a while now 8)

That's exactly what makes this whole game of catch and release so much fun :D ;-) Suffice to say, you are in good company here. I can really relate and it feels never-ending.

I like the other rasmus guitars, GOOD LUCK finding one in the color/config you want

I can find "real" Suhrs that are more of what I want. Will post some shortly :hihi:

I'd order a Suhr from these guys in 5 seconds (they have so many) but I've never played one :bang:

Yo H.
No guitar is fantasy land IMO-
'cept maybe SynthAxe.
If you find something that is uno-
get it somehow IMO
Personally I have a Gibson Custom with pop-out pickups and gold electronics.
I was dreaming of the Gibson natural 10 years ago,
and this one even has not the crappy plastic fret markers.
They are maple.
It's soo freaking sweet I'm incredulous to own this guitar.
Anyway-IMO don't price urself out.
If a guitar is going to be something to live for-get it! hehe

I'm glad you found a great guitar! Did I ever thank you for starting this thread?

I dunno man, I think this fender may actually be just right, but I'm exploring options.
