chipcrusher is an advanced bitcrusher, a speaker simulator and noise machine. It's an audio effect which plays back input audio through a simulation of early lofi digital audio codecs (DAC Encoding), adds grit (Background Noise), and outputs through a selection of speaker and filter impulse responses (Post-Processing).

So now I have chipsounds and chipcrusher. That makes me the bestest chiptune producour in the whirled! Unless someone else has these exact same plugins. In which case I say we settle it with a game of Tetris.

Ok, I'm done with the order process and installing it now. It's Tetris time !

Wow, this thing as a send effect. It's really brought the current beat I'm working on to life.

I will offer a word of warning, tweaking the parameters should be done with one hand on the volume knob.

Indeed. Believe it or not I did limit some parameter ranges with regards to beta versions.
watch out for PWM and PDM encodings. If you know your hearing limit in kHz, don't go under that on the Resampler parameter

OR at least make sure the RC filter and Post-processing eats away at the high end.

The demo version is not up yet, we hope to have one ready in a few weeks.
The video hopefully will give you a good overview of the range of sounds you can achieve in the mean time.
