Otherwise, PDC in your DAW should correct this, but as you know it depends on the host's support of PDC.
How much is the latency, does it change with sample rate? (as silly as that sounds, some plugins do!)

Unfortunately, latency compensation is still an issue atm with the DAW that I'm using atm.

Anyway, will consider it if the latency won't be too big!

Its not silly, it often depends on samplerate. In this case there are many variables influencing the reported latency of this plugin, that I cant give you a static figure (internally its quite complex and buffers _three_ distinct sample rate streams).

Again chipcrusher couldn't sound like it does without the added latency, sorry about your daw, you could always render-and-nudge the track.

I remember hearing about this being developed years ago and was almost going to start using it as a replacement joke for the LuSh-101.......

Yeah problem with me is that I have all those hardware research-based projects that I work on at the same time, (including three other retro-digital ones), I just needed to focus on this one to get it out.

Found a problem so far...
The plugin doesn't seem to report the correct latency while rendering in FL Studio 11.

even if I turn off all modules...
in other words, it sounds correct while playback aka no latency (with the DAC deactivated) and after rendering the audio seem to get extra ~ 30ms or so... causing phase problems especially when mixing in parallel.

...

A feature request if I may ask: a dry/wet control for the post-processing section please!

Hum there might be a few adjustments left there. Note: to turn the internal PDC completely off, you need to click on the middle top of the interface - to show the settings tab, and hit "live mode" as well. once you restart the track, there shouldn't be any extra latency added when you don't use DAC Encoding.

Thought about this a lot, but only a few impulse have actual reverb tails since most were made in a near anechoic setting. Some metal PC casings sure resonate though. lol.

Out two top prios are the latency and mono support for AU/RTAS. We hope to have an update for these soon.

Thanks for the report!

Would be nice to have a separate wet/dry control for the IR. Would be even nicer to have crossover controls to preserve bass or treble while running mids through the IR :D

Want to demo before I buy. Is it easy to install without administrator? What kind of CP does it have?

Post

a complete no brainer.

I will buy ASAP

The request still makes sense even if the decays are very short/nonexistent, and I second the request.

It's a question of having an easy way to vary the amount of character the speaker imparts to the final signal. Sometimes a touch may be enough.

Great product, great price. Looking forward to using.

bought it but had no chance to play with it. install was easy and quick. the aria CP is one of the easiest way to register the software.

Instant buy here, great plugin.
+1 for Dry/wet request though !

The first time I tried this out I put it onto a couple different VST tracks (obviously one of them was chipsounds :D ). Then I decided to try it as a send effect on a separate bus and HOLY **** it blew my mind. It really does a fantastic job with grit, downsampling and bitcrushing, but blending it with the original signal helps give it some "pop" back if you're not going for a chiptune.

Thanks David for all your hard work, the effort you put into your software really shows.

Well, that was an instabuy!

Been looking forward to this since that preview video appeared over a year back.

BTW David and Shy, Youtube's audio quality is pretty good IMO. 128 AAC at 360p/480p and 192 AAC at 720p+. It somewhat ironically has much better audio quality than any of the dedicated audio streaming services (especially Soundcloud's 128 MP3, urgh) at all video sizes other than 240p. Just make sure your video has uncompressed/lossless audio to avoid transcoding. :)

What is the price after the introductory period?
