thanks but i don't want to sound like bjork..there is already one bjork and she does what she does very well..i prefer to keep on developing my own style
You don't have to sound like Björk. I just said "Björk-like arrangement" to indicate an arrangement that consists of electronic and orchestral elements and would fit to your voice.
Thanks i'm very happy to know that my arrangements don't sound like bjork :-) because the last thing i want is to have Bjork like arrangement :-)

because some people told me that my arrangement reminded them of Bjork and it kind of made me very depress so thanks a lot you made my dayl
Seems to be difficult to give you any suggestions or hints if you only want your own individual special extraordinary "not-sound-alike-anybody" style. Because in a real band everybody is influenced by other musicians, and everybody wants to bring in some of their ideas. You won't find a band that you can rule only with your own ideas... :(
yes of course, i agrea with you..i myself have many influences..and as long as i find people who have their own influences that can make a good mix with mine that's fine.

I have nothing against Bjork, she does great things, but for this project, i don't included her as an influence..i would rather have depeche mode, marylin manson, NIN , hole and garbage, AFI, within temptation, children of bodom, nightwish, sex pistols, eminem, the cure, VNV nation ...so my influences are rich enough i think ..then we can't please everyone and that's fine, as long as i manage to please the right people...if you prefer singer that do things like bjork there are plenty of other female singer into this kind of stuff..but it's not because my voice is same pitch that i should do bjork like arrangement..that won't be very creative IMO..i prefer to follow my own personality
and by the way: maybe i have some bjork influence without realizing it too! because i myself have a few electro sounds..but if i was really influenced by Bjork, i would have done nothing on my own and find someone to do everything for me :-)

This ain't true IMO. There are many good players without any idea.

You're right - always when I try to find some people for collaborations, I find announcements of hundreds of cover bands that don't do anything than singing songs from the 70ies and 80ies... :(

Nice list do you have... :)

I think about combining Depeche Mode with a rap of Eminem, and The Cure as background singers, because I like all three, too!

BTW, what do you think of the band "Lacrimosa"? That's kind of a music style that would fit to your voice and background... (I already know the answer: "I don't want to sound like Lacrimosa" :o )

Anyway, good luck for finding a band in France! Most people are making either Indie Pop/Rock or Chanson, but I know there's a big underground scene in France...

SO they lost contact with their emotions..because ideas comes from what make us feel we're alive i think..and we feel alive when we have feelings

You can express feelings playing someone's else compositions and you can compose without feelings, it works both ways.

I think i found my music style and don't want to do anything else...i sill have to improve on some things in my music but the general ambiance of it is there;
I could lend my voice to other projects that sounds cool but for this project i'm developping i think i'm on the right path.

I'm not very up to date, but France had some cult dark underground bands, PTOSE, ZNR, Etron Fou Leloublan, DDAA, Art Zoyd... So there's a tradition to follow.

great stuff!! loved all of it.
Well you know one of my favourite band is Adagio, they are also from France, am pretty sure if you manage to get in contact with ether Stephan Forte or Kevin Codfert they would try and help you or at least direct you to write people for a band, give it a shot.
I know the guys we used to chit chat over facebook all the time, when i used to have my account ahhaahaha.

Definitely a unique sound (which is no easy feat). And good quality of recording on the vocal track. Your English is good, eh?

Like most people have been saying, there are pros and cons to playing with a full band. Make sure that you are explicit with the band members about the power dynamics within the band. I've been in bands where power tensions eventually broke apart the band.
