By the way I sometimes see hardcore gamers who always needs the latest greatest selling their top tweaked complete rigs for incredibly cheap. You might have to put up with some ridiculous purple lights etc, but good bang for the buck and there's usually top cooling systems etc included.

What is your CPU? Mine is only an older Macbook with Core 2 duo 2.0ghz. But I was able to get decent performance out of Podolski, although that was the AU version in a Mac native host. Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz / 3072MB RAM / Running Windows 7 Home Premium (which already does a fine job of sucking CPU by itself, heh). Well that's encouraging at least. Sort of. Don't feel bad though, this Macbook was graciously passed down to me. Before that I was doing most of my composition on a 600mhz Windows CE device. I used to upgrade it quite often due to MMOs - until I realised how stupid is to invest money in a bunch of pixels So now I don't feel motivated enough to shell out cash just to run a certain VST or play an online game. As nice as they might be, if they're pushing my system too hard, it ain't worth the effort I still have lots of cool toys to play with even on this oldie I used to do the same thing, except to play First person shooters and some other action games. I stopped "keeping up with the race" in around 2007. That's what I did as well (in my case: basses)

Interesting synth with some unique features. Unfortunately the preset management is really bad. Or rather: there is no one. So preset-sharing is very uncomfortable.
But there is something incredible: the filter. I never heard a filter like this before. To demonstrate, what you can do with the filter alone (just self-oscillating!), just try out this preset:
