I hope someone can help me with this one. I have EVE installed on one machine and have it working (or so I thought). However when I tried to send William some presets he couldn't open them in EVE.

I therefore set up a test situation on another PC I have and I to cannot read presets made on my music PC. I am therefore thinking I may have messed up the directory structure.

I know it will go something like ....VST Plugins -- EVE -- then I presume sound files go in the EVE Data folder. or am I missing something else.

Thanks for any ideas

Adrian

I don't think is anything related to directory structure. I think it could be a Tracktion problem. Since the presets do load without problems, but they are blank. :( I looked the FXP files with a binary editor, they look correct, but Tracktion is setting the SIZE of the file wrongly. So when Cubase tries to load it, it thinks the size of the presets is ZERO...

This may be related - when I save .fxp presets in Tracktion, and attempt to open them in Chainer, the vsti just closes, or simply doesn't change patches. I think Tracktions .fxp export code is f*cked somehow.

This is really bizarre as the few patches that I submitted for FK1 and FK2 were sent okay and worked. May post this on the Tracktion forum and see if Jules (the creator of Tracktion) has any ideas.

Thanks

I'm away from my Traction machine so I can't help here--here's a thought, though: I read a long time ago that presets created in the mono version of EVE wouldn't work in the multi-out version. :?:
