Beta 25 is now available, new in this version:

- Much improved envelope handling, the complete envelope can now be controlled in the graphical envelope section without using the faders (attack/release/depth/type).
- Mouse over shows attack / release regions
- Mouse over shows when mouse is in range for dragging
- Drag mouse up/down to change the depth of the envelope
- Use mousewheel in attack/release regions to finetune

I tried to download beta 25 twice and got beta 24 each time. Not a big deal, but I figured I'd report it.

Are you using 64 bit? The dll has been renamed from (64bit) to (x64) so you might have 2 instances in your VST plugins. If so please delete the old dll. I'll check the download myself asap.

Just checked the dll's and they're both the right ones.
You probably have 2 versions in your VST folder.

That's exactly what it was. Thanks!

Just testing and getting into it. ;)

I guess this is also a place for bug reports? Not sure if this was mentioned already.

The tool tips / mouse over info at the bottom is interrupting as soon as my DAW is playing. If I adjust, for example, Oscillator FREQ1 to a specific Hz when my DAW is not in play mode the values will show just fine, but once its running it switches between the Hz value and "Use right mouse button to drag range" constantly. Also, this message only appears when my DAW is running. Oh, and it says "hZ" not "Hz". :D

Windows 7 64bit, Studio One 2.5 x86, Drumatic 4 beta25 x86

I'm in for a drum-synth. It's basically down to drumatic and 2 others, all with their unique charm and approaches. I hope, I don't hurt anyone by saying that I consider Drumatic more a "drum designer", but it's great at what it does, so please don't take this wrong. It's the easiest of the bunch I'm testing to get quick and nice results. ;)

At times using the demo now I just feel that same or almost same results could be archived by layering samples and combine those with single-cycle waveforms in most good samplers. This is just my impression after 2 days testing.

Are there any plans for step-sequencer / step-modulation kind of things for the future? This is one of the reasons holding me back to not fall into the impulse trap with it. ;)

Nothing wrong with a "drum designer " ;-) I guess everyone uses it in their own way.

Nope, not planned for v1. I personally don't use step sequencers that much because DAW's provide a better way of sequencing in 99% of the cases.

PRAISE the lord. yes I am fed up with all the bloated drum sequencers in drum synths myself. I never use them.

Don't really hang out in these parts anymore, but just dropping in to say that the current (demo) beta is sounding awesome. Waiting 'til pay day to purchase. @ephonic, I think you just saved me from buying a MD :tu:

cheers, sk
