Can I sell my Muzys licence?

Before I start getting into this question, i have to say I haven't emailed Jo because that would be a waste of time. He hasn't answered any emails for about a year

I have Muzys 3.14 sitting on my hard drive, doing nothing, as I've moved on to other hosts - so can I sell the licence? I could definitely use the money and put it towards another VST :)

OBVIOUSLY the buyer would be made aware that the product is probably no longer supported, and that the version they get is "AS IS". I would also send the original invoice and also the MuzysKey.

So what would be a reasonable price? I original bought the ComputerMuzys upgrade, can't remember how much that was

Thanks guys! Hopefully someone who really wants Muzys can get it, and I can get it off my hands :)

can you sell your muzys license?

i don't think that there is a muzys company to try to stop you, now is there?

I'd say sell away my friend 8)

you've convinced me! ;)

Anyone interested in buying my Muzys licence, PM me with an offer.

I'd like to buy your license, but I'd also like to be sure that I wont have any problems if Jo suddenly decides to make and update, and tells me I can't have it 'cause I'm not the original license owner.

you cant have it all, can you?

If it's legal I should have it all, right?

My reading of the licence agreement (legal.txt in the distribution, still available from the Muzys website) is that selling an upgrade licence is (vaguely) questionable. I can't see any constraint on passing on a full licence (because you're not transfering the software - which is still available for download - just the right to use it that you purchased).

However, the key statements are:
the licence wrote: All rights not specifically granted in this Agreement, including International Copyrights, are reserved by The Muzys Team.
...
All questions concerning this Agreement shall be directed to : legal@muzys.com.
IANAL...

I have emailed legal[at]muzys[dot[com] in the vain home I can get this cleared up. Will post back here if I hear anything, though I doubt I will. So for now, I won't be selling the licence. I also asked if the buyer would be entitled to any future upgrades, if Muzys continues in development
Cheers

I would be interested in a licence for Muzys 3, so long as I get the program fully functional.

I like Muzys for Muzynth and it has a nice grunty sound.

Otherwise I will be looking at Live 4 to augment Reason 2.5.

I'd like to sell my liscence too.
I have now converted completely to EnergyXT,
and Muzys just sits there, unused...
I'd email Jo, but whats the point?
He's not gonna respond...
Would it be wrong of me to sell it?
Or would it be right seeing as how Jo ditched us?
I wont sell it until I get a better understanding of all of this....

It might seem paultry but I'd pay $25 for the 3.14 license. Considering I can get Tracktion for $80 and eXT for $40... $25 for a software which is "history" seems fair to me.

I already use FL & eXT on my PC but would like to have Muzys for my Mac (and who knows, I might use it a little on my PC as well).

Anyways, if anyone wants to sell their license then PM me.

Thanks,
Scott
