Bought Spire and so it makes more fun without the noise maker :)

I tried a bit different stuff with Spire, not pure trance. Some short electronic idea with a Saxophone. This project is using 4 instances of Spire (Bass, 2x Plucks, 1xLead). The additional pads/FX are from Ana, Z3ta, Alicia Keys, Sax is from the Kontakt 5 Library.

You must have a very powerful computer. :hihi:
Interesting sounds, though. :)

I used more Spire sounds with not so long release times. The reverb can also help to fake a bit the "release tail" :P Anyway, I think nobody would make a complete song only with Spire/Diva/DCAM/... In a combination with other sounds, it's IMO not such a big problem. This project runs on a Core 2 Duo OC (so not really a very powerful machine) with 70-90% Asio performance included mixing/mastering FX (some stuff runs on a UAD)

No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Well Spire has certainly created a popular thread or post count thread (hwoever you choose to read into that statement).

Passing even at the intro price. I like it but already have Lush on the back burner due to CPU haulage and whilst the tron demo showed some potential, the patches that in'spire'd (hehe) most are the most intensive...

Maybe in the future but for me Synthmaster is probably achieving similar sounds.

I like Spires GUI and ease of use...lets see how it develops over time.

If I might give a little workaround tip on using synths with very heavy cpu consumption: Sample it with HighLife

Once you have the sound you want out of the heavy cpu synth, you can sample it with discoDSP HighLife (it can load vst's), save it as a (fxp) program in HighLife, unload the vst, and play it back with just a fraction of the cpu use :)
