Thanks for the tuning info antto. Everything is good now. I guess the answer is probably in the manual, eh? I am a chronic manual ignorer... :?

lol, 303 phreaks... just found this, the earliest
incarnation of Goa trance, from 1982:

made in India!

re: tuning reset, if this gets done in (ph)uture,
the DD module lets you adjust the reset value, which
could also be pretty handy.

DuX wrote:Mr. Smasha, the beauty of TB is in its sequencer and its hard programmability. The thing is, it can be a really creative tool that leads you into an unexplored territory.

For example, I sometimes start with it, build up some sounds, and then cut it off. It has done its job of moving me into the right direction.

It's different. And that's great. It can open different doors.

Anyway my idea of a dream bass is Chris Squire doing a session and bringing his bass sound from the Fragile album.

Now that is BASS!

Smasha: Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster, thats what you need then. Forget computer controlled things :D just joking. the 303 is not have strings, just a seq and cpu oscs, filter, electronics etc.

you know this is cheating, my x0xb0x doesn't have a "reset" on the tuning knob, nor a 0.5 position ;]

anyway, your DAW should have this functionality, i've labeled the parameters
It doesn't matter how it sounds..
..as long as it has BASS and it's LOUD!

aw, brilliant, the interview. that's really quite moving.
(can't help feeling he was wondering what had happened to his
old gear though...)

so: Tarnce comes - most definitely and conclusively -from India
(nothing to do with old hippies on the beach, then) and Acid
comes from A-frica!!

yeahyeah, but the sequence mashing you had on the beta2 was good too,
and it would be nice to kick sequences forwards or back, stuff like
that, kindalike super303(especially with the MIDI out you don't want
to put on there either). Got Funk from the Venom at daybreak today :)

I'm having some trouble with opening this VST in Ableton. It first crops up with loads of messages saying it cant load various modules and then when it loads all the buttons and knobs are jumbled up and in the wrong places. HELP!?
