Hi!

I'm a new user of the VIRUS TI Snow, been having it for a pretty long time but haven't got into it since it has only given me problems so far.

For me, inside of Ableton Live 9, it's REALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get the virus ti snow to sync with the rest of the project!!

It's constantly out of time and when realtime bouncing/recording it inside of an Ableton Live 9 project it's out of time aswell.

When soloing it it's in time , but when unsoloing it it's out of time - and at that point, it seems like all the notes are false (don't know if it's the timing issue that makes this happen).

Also on some patches when I play chords with more than 5 notes playing at the same time, it seems to go into some weird mono mode or something, since it's not triggering all the notes (you know how it sounds like when for example applying the "mono legato" inside of a synth such as sylenth1 or massive, it simply only plays one note and gives a weird sound when it's activated on a chord midi). Is there some way to fix this? as in setting a higher polyphony or something within the virus itself? I tried to find it within the virus ti software but just couldnt find it.

So, I need big help with this, because I really want to be able to use this beast. I've googled and searched around here about this particular problem, and I found a few threads about users having the same problem, but to be honest, those threads were so large and too much information to take in and it seemed very complicated, so I started this new thread.

I wanna fix this, please help.

Best,

J

I have a TI Desktop and its seems to work OK in Live 9. The problem I have is that its not able to start the Virus Control AU. I have to plug in the USB multiple times.

What OS are you using? On the Virus as well Win/Mac...

MAC OSX 10.8.3 and the latest virus ti update: 5.0.3.00

The problem occurs when I'm using other instruments to play along with the virus, then it's out of sync. But when I have a project with ONLY the virus, it's fine.
