Cabling Eurorack style modular please.
Complete mix and match modules you place in your rack
Multimode filters - lp, hp, notch, comb, formant, etc
Modeled filters (ob, Moog ladder, polivoks, ms-20 dual, etc)
Poly module
Osc modules with saw, pulse, tri, sine, sqr, morph setting between two, digital sampled waveforms, sub osc. Ring mod and fm mod
Lfo modules fully sync able, several waveforms, fast and slow switch for rates, audio rate osc
Filter modules resonance goes audio rate and is 1024 step or greater by switch or standard 128 steps if you need it
Sequencer module up to 32 steps
Math
Mutimixer
Adsr modules with fine tune knob behavior or coarse for quick setting envelopes
Good fx section with dist, reverb, chorus, delay, flange, bitcrusher
Cable tension adjust
Cable anti magnet action on finger proximity - they move out of the way when trying to do knob tweaks
As many modules as possible to choose from, but on first release, at least the basics to put together a small Doepfer or Pittsburgh modular 2 shelf rack
Glide, portamento, unison, osc sync, osc have mix setting on waveform morph out so if you send saw and pulse out of the same osc, you can specify mix of waveforms and individual levels.
Easy zoom features and instant de-zoom on cable grab.
Ok, that's a big undertaking for a dev, but this would be the synth app that makes me pick up my iPad way too much for designing sounds and custom synths.
Of course support for Audiobus and fullest midi support to be built in.
I'll pay $50 gladly
Keep traditional Eurorack look and cabling look.

I put up a desktop prototype for an app like this a while back, but didn't get a huge amount of feedback/interest. It doesn't have all the feature you mention (no sequencer or Audiobus), but close. (And I was thinking of asking more like 4 or 5$)

If you're REALLY keen on trying it on your iPad, PM me and I'll try to set you up...

I'll download and try on my PC. I don't know how much cabling synths get interest anymore from the major population of softsynth users, but my personal favorite of late is Sonigen Modular which is nearly as much fun as my hardware modular. I look forward to trying yours. I'll leave feedback on your site for this. I know a lot of people like to make their own sounds on softsynths, but don't know how many like to make the whole synth while making a preset. Modulars to me are the ultimate in custom shaping though. They make sense to me a lot more than most modulation matrices. My iPad right now is App Store only apps because my work gave it to me. I can put whatever apps i want, just no jail breaking on it.

I have Audulus. It's not even close on what I'm looking for because you have to build out even a simple lfo. Audulus is the modular for the ultra tweaker. I just want Eurorack style modules you can patch together, not spend an hour building nested sub-modules for every circuit. I really hoped Audulus was something I could grab a familiar module with and just build synths and patches, but its entirely too granular for my tastes. Reminds me more of synthedit for Mac and iOS with a bare look and no ability to wrap up the whole thing in a pretty and easy to use GUI. Phenomenal abilities even at current stage, but not to my tastes. I need recognizable modules that are built already. As in Vaz, Karmafx, Sonigen, Bazille, Alsa, or similar. Audulus is like Reaktor or Synthmaker.Sans Nom wrote:Audulus is a very good modular, even if doesn't fully match your list at the moment. But it improves (almost) every day. You should have a look.
But thanks for the suggestion. It's amazing Audulus was able to be ported to iPad use.

I downloaded the windows version. It's a great start and sounds very good. A little unfinished look on it and standalone lacks menu that is easy to find for midi preferences, but a nice start. This one on iOS would be really cool. I hope others pick up more interest in it too.SingleCell wrote:I put up a desktop prototype for an app like this a while back, but didn't get a huge amount of feedback/interest. I wasn't talking about jailbreaking, PM me for details.Wormhelmet wrote:My iPad right now is App Store only apps because my work gave it to me. I can put whatever apps i want, just no jail breaking on it.

I'm interested. I read about the testflight stuff, so enabled my email and PM on here. Would be cool to see how it works on iOS for sure. Thanks.
