I'm wondering if anyone downloaded the banks for Feldspar from the Contralogic site?

I did

When I downloaded Feldspar for OSC it hit me why it wasn't already in my synth list - way too small default preset bank - so I've probably discarded it. But with all the available banks now, it's a very good option; I'll continue to use it because I really like how it sounds.

Yes don't see why not either, even if it's just to access Pro Tools or some other editor to get at their effects (which would be a bit naughty tbh). What do others think? Still don't understand why you can't master in the original DAW though..

Agree, not sure what Audacity would buy anyone over just using the master track... but I think it's fine. I would vote no on commercial mastering apps though: think things like stand alone mastering progs might get introduced, which borders the 'using commercial plugins' IMO.

Yes this needs to be sorted, let's have a vote on it. Until then the rules are as they are, you can use effects from DAW (undefined number of DAWs) + 3rd party free effects. Since I see (at least in Wiki) a DAW is still defined the old way with a computer + soundcard + software and the software can be editors, there's nothing stopping people using any editor or multiple editors / software, so I guess you have to decide yourself what's right until this gets better defined.

MuTools: Hipass, Lowpass, Compressor All For Kick drum
Mutools: Level Compressor on 4 of the instances
MuTools: Audio Limiter right before the Master track
Kick contains 5 of the 30 instances.
BPM : 140
The DR is 5 Peak is -0.00 RMS L-7.1 R-7.1

Wound up not having to use Audacity. I was able to make the model that I needed.

Hi - deleted two prior Feldspar submissions and uploaded a new song. I actually ended up this month with over 8 songs and it's been tough determining which one or two to represent here. Anyway, decision was made and I hope everyone enjoys this months entry. The track is called "To Us [Robot Remix]"

What's with "Gaze Dock"? If that guitar is synthesized with Feldspar, I quit electronic music (well actually, synth programming of that level exists, but...?! o.O)

I don't know guys, its possible, if you can get the key tones of an oscillation you can reproduce anything.

Apropos, have a listen to OSC 1 Synth1: Kaiyoti - Army of Synth for tremendous acoustic sound synthesizing if you don't have his Synth1 bank and tried the sounds already.

Seems that Jules got the Trakction3 plugins working inside Tracktion4, so can I use in my challenge entry Final Mix from Mackie [ Trakction3 ] now that I am using Tracktion 4 ? It is a bit of hypothetical question atm, as I don't have an entry ready yet!
