iKlip Stand now open for pre-orders

A new tabletop holder that raises your iPad and iPad mini above the desktop

ImageImage

iKlip Stand is a tabletop holder that puts your iPad or iPad mini right where you need it. iKlip Stand elevates your iPad or iPad mini, making room for keyboards and other equipment below, and provides a more comfortable and ergonomic workspace when using your iPad at a desk.

This new desktop stand mounts the iPad above the desktop so users can position any type of equipment (like music keyboards, mixers, DJ gear etc…) under it for quick access and viewing while playing.  It provides a more efficient use of desktop space and a more comfortable ergonomic setup. The iKlip Stand for iPad and iKlip Stand for iPad mini are both priced at $69.99 / €49.99 MSRP (excl. tax).

Integrating an iPad®, iPad mini® or other tablet into a stage, studio, home or office setup has never been easier. Pre-order yours today.

---That would be incredibly cool if it also charged and had midi capabilities like my Griffin. It's cool anyway but that would make it pretty much complete for me.

I still haven't bought iLectric yet and want to but won't unless you put a preset/users bank in there. Those of us who use these things live don't have time for fiddling we need the modifications set and ready to go.

? Was that a response in the correct thread? I'd hardly expect an iPad stand to do any charging. And yes, we've heard your request for presets, and relayed it. I hope I've been clear in that I've done so.

Back on topic:

iKlip Stand is GREAT for your keyboard too, check out how it fits under your controller:

Also, you can clamp it to your desk too! Check it out:

Is this plastic or poly (like the original). Or is it metal- can't tell.
Well jeeze, how about making a similar thing for a MacBook- would love to see something that could Klip on to it and give me full freedom versus the regular fixed stands out there. Likley to much weight to counter balance but I can dream.

I do rather like this, especially after seeing the desk clamping abilities.
Hmmmmm. Think I may have to invest...

Thanks for the suggestion too.

Well, of course. Why else would you laugh at my terrible puns and jokes??!!. Seriously, this is very cool, I don't have one myself yet either but I do really want it. I thought the simplicity and utility of iKlip Studio made it one of our sleeper hits, but this may take the crown there.

---My Griffin iPad stand does exactly what I mentioned, maybe you should check them out. It holds the iPad, it charges the iPad, it has audio outs for my iPad and it has midi for my iPad. I wish yours did the same, that's all I was saying...

Ah, I really didn't even have that come to mind for the stand aspect as it seems a different beast than the iKlip line entirely. We're looking into ways to get around not charging while iRig HD is plugged in, for sure, so that's a step in that direction but not exactly what you meant either. Of course we've stayed away from the "dock" concept for what we feel is some very good business reasoning, but there are always options and ideas that could be valid around that. Thanks!

personally I like the idea of something that clamps on the desk and I can move around into an ideal position above my keyboards or whatever.... I'm picking up an X32 Rack soon for my studio and ipad control will be essential, so this iKlip might make it into my studio, even without the docking features.

The griffin looks like it kinda does everything....but its not nearly as practical in terms of how you mount the ipad on your desk.
