Hello

The Hartmann Music is splitted between two lines in the PDF like:
Hartmann
Music

So for me, it is not clear is there a blank or not

and a blank in a folder name could also create some trouble, sometimes.

If your mothers language is something other than English it is difficult.

I just used copy/paste to see if there was a gap needed

There's a gap already in the name Application Support so obviously that's not a problem on Mac

Well well.... Look what @Chris_Randall has to say on twitter:

Chris_Randall: Hartmann Neuron VSTi ported to VST2.4, VSTGUI3, and PNGs instead of BMPs. http://t.co/ONVEliHIas

Chris_Randall: Still have a ton of work to do on the graphics and mouse methods, but the need for a Nuke is removed. Getting there.

Interesting :)

Cool - I hope he doesn't take out the ability to use the NUKE though if you have one

He should be doing a PC port too. :D:D:D

The Nuke driver code is very bad, and there is none for the PC side, as it was apparently lost. I'm trying to come up with a way to duplicate the functionality on the UI, but as you've all discovered by now, it can easily be duplicated via MIDI. In any event, if there's something to be gained by leaving the driver code in for the not-many people who have a Nuke, I'll do it, but I need a Nuke to test it with. In my current build, I removed the warning that appears if no Nuke is plugged in (this is an OS X system warning and would either have to be removed or rebuilt for an eventual Windows port in any event) but the driver code is still there and running; I haven't taken it out yet.

Ooh! "Eventual Windows port"? Do tell more. :)

I can't seem to get it to respond to MIDI CCs. Anyone used Logic's environment or Numerology with the VST hosted in Bidule? I'd just like to know it's working before spending more time.

The Facebook hosting is a drag. I got model maker and am trying it on an old Mac, but it'd be nice to use it on a modern machine too.

If you're subhosting it in Bidule you need to map the Neuron params to Bidule params first. Then automate the Bidule params. I have created a project with this already done here:

ignore the ksd unless you also have NI Kore.

Does this mean they'll be a PC port?

I didn't have a lot of time with Neuron V, but the impression I got was that it had promise, but had a bunch of very capable competition from the likes of Alchemy, Absynth, Iris (nice UI btw), Poseidon, Harmor, etc. I felt it could be a commercial plug in, but not without a bit more love in the UI side and the audio engine department. I'd love to see Audio Damage give it a total overhaul and release a version for sale. Not sure what the legalities are of this, but since there's already a free one floating around that's taking a lot of work to make happen...

Now 3 months later, any news or updates?

Heard this sounds good, but cant understand why you have to buy hardware for a vsti synth,, why not just make it hardware and have a vsti interface?

I've downloaded the free Neuron vst-plugi in yesterday.

It sounds cheasy. I really don't know, why you need a 1.5 GB database to let samples sound as bad synthie sounds....
