Totally impressed! Clearly the best iOS synth out there and at a very reasonable price. Do not overlook the detailed PDF manual on the Waldorf website....you will discover even more potential in this monster!

I'm loving this synth as well - amazing, really! Here's a short piece I did to get to know it a bit..

iMO, it's the first really interesting iOS synth in quite a while. It would be cool to see the osc's modulated travel through the wave table in real time, but this and other animations are likely more CPU intensive than they're worth. It's working fine on my "ancient" iPad 2.
Actually, as superficial as it is, the opening animation is pretty cool...

I think I'm going to pass on downloading this right now, too many apps. Will I regret missing the intro price on the 19th? Probably! Will I eventually buy it? Probably! Keep posting cool clips of it, I may get weak...

I've bought a ton of apps also and use very little of them. Now it looks like live I'll be using:mrufino1 wrote:I think I'm going to pass on downloading this right now, too many apps. 1--Sampletank (love that sax!)
2--Garageband
3--Galileo (too cool organs!
4--Nave (it's everything I'd hoped the PPG and others would be)
To me these are well worth the money and I wish that I could use a few others but these are my Fantastic Four...

This is a seriously good synth (and I dont just mean "for an iOS synth"). For 8 quid I really think it is a no-brainer. It's packed with great wavetables (including loads from the classic PPG/waldorf synths) but you can also do spectral editing of the waveforms, which is very impressive.
It is very deep (and you do really have to read the manual to get the best out of it) but once you have done, it becomes very straightforward to edit (imho).
It also comes with a shed-load (500?) of presets - many of which are superb.
The only niggle I've found so far is that you only seem to be able to browse presets by author. It would be nice to be able to scroll through ALL the bass presets (for example).
Oh - the intro price is for 5 days from release (I think it came out last Thursday?).

Agree- it is mildly annoying that presets have to be sorted by bank. Also, it needs a master volume control that is accessible at all times.
But other than that, wow....!
