Move Komplete update Folders to a Better Location

Hello,

I downloaded the Komplete 8 updates to my desktop by accident. Can I move them? What would be a better location for the folders?

The reason I am posting here is that after two hours on Native instruments site I still did not get to ask. Perhaps My product login is different than NI Forum? I tried all different ways to ask but could not. The search for help was equally futile.

I love KVR so easy to get around and the help is top notch.

BTW One of the Random questions was what does NI stand for. I wrote Native Instruments and they said I got the answer wrong. Hmmm!

Yes, of course you can move them - just cut and paste them wherever you want to save them. Not only that, if you look at the bottom left-hand side of the Service Center Updates tab, you can specify the directory that you want to save the updates to before downloading them next time. Where you save them is up to you. Personally, I like to keep copies of the most recent updates on-hand after downloading them, so I have a disc partition (on a non-system drive) reserved for downloads, with a folder for each developer and subfolders for each plugin. I also keep copies of serial numbers, registration info, login info, etc. saved in a text file with each purchased product for quick access.

I just realized that all the folders contain and exe file. Now if I had done that before I would not need to ask. What was I thinking? Very embarrassing.
So now I have to do 16 installs. This is no fun. Don't they have automatic updates? No these are not updates but the complete program of a newer version.
I suppose the older version is automatically deleted or uninstalled or I have to uninstall it?

Just run the updaters, they should take care of everything. Any prior uninstalls might in fact screw stuff up.
