I agree, but since I consider saturation an essential ingredient for rock'n'roll, I've name both plugins after one of the most essential lines in rock'n'roll:

a plugin named after an ian dury song? I'll buy it. :)

Oh boy oh boy, really excited about this one. Can't wait to try it out. Forgive me for not reading the thread, but what's the ETA on SDRR?

Post

Wow.. this thing sounds great! Looking forward to the full plugin 8-)

Post

thank you tony! can't wait to try out and surely i'll buy SDRR! :tu:
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

tonhelm wrote:I really hope to have SDRR ready in about a month. There'll be an intro price around 22 Euro. Not really decided yet. I has to be a bit higher than DC8C, because it took over a year in the making.

Let me know, what you think when trying IVGI.

Sounds GREAT! Thank You..

'kay, thanks BDeep. I know it's kinda dumb to whine about LOW prices, but... man, these plugins are seriously under-priced. DC8C is an awesome dynamics effect tool up there with the best of them, and from what I've heard so far (I just dumped IVGI on a few tracks on works in progress, from synths to drums to vocals), the new saturator won't disappoint.

Thanks Tony, for making these great tools, and for making them affordable!

Post

Have fun? Absolutely, Tony! :D Thank you so much!

What do I think of it? It's an incredibly great saturation plugin for free. I love plugins that introduce low level noise, random modulations, and nonlinearities in moderate [to taste is the best] amount.

Great freebie! Thank you again!

Waiting eagerly for SDRR!

Cheers!

I can't demo IVGI at the moment, but damn I can't wait to ! And I'm really looking forward SDRR.

Tony, a quick question about SDRR if you don't mind : will it be possible to set custom calibration level ?

Post

I am not Tony, but...

Yes, this will be possible with SDRR.
If you take a look on the screenshot a couple of pages back, to the lower right of the VU is a number, saying -18.

This is not a "peak" value, this sets the reference level.
