IVGI nice teaser. SDRR looks amazing.

Officially, IVGI is more of another saturation mode.

As Tony told me : "it's actually a separate plugin with a different sound from the the ones found in SDRR".

So that's why it has its own different looking GUI.

EDIT : According to the product page, IVGI's base sound is comparable to the DESK mode in the upcoming big brother SDRR.

Whoo, great news!

I'm excited to try this one after the super compressors

Tony, a quick question about SDRR if you don't mind : will it be possible to set custom calibration level ?
Just as in DC8C, you'll be able to freely set your reference level in SDRR.

Perfect, thanks Tony ! ;)

Another cool as hell klanghelm plugin I won't be enjoying. Damn it.

Sounds fantastic though, I bet SDRR is freakin awesome. I'm jealous of you all now :tantrum:

I'll just go and pretend this never happened

Why ?

Long story short, the framework Tony uses has a bug where it will lock the DAW upon opening/closing the GUI {1} {2} {3}.

Tony cannot reproduce. However, I really admire Klanghelm plugins. The sound, the look, the price. I would honestly pay a lot more than he charges if the plugins worked for me. I think they're worth it.

Don't wanna put a downer on stuff though. The IVGI is superb. Wish I could use it :p

Wow yeah weird bug here...strange I never had any problem with his products (Ableton, Reaper, Pro Tools...).
Did you try with an older version of FL ?

Post

Yeah it's not FL. They are solid as a rock on the laptop (vista 32). They just seem to dislike my main studio machine (win7 64).

It's definitely the framework Tony uses. Sonimus Satson has this exact issue on my rig.

I couldn't really care less about Satson, but the Klanghelm plugins I do feel like I'm missing out on.

Oh no! I was getting excited about this freebie (big thanks for the generosity, by the way!), and was already planning to buy the big one, but i'm using a win7 64 machine, i hope this works on it! I'll try it when i get back home this evening... I'm running reaper64. Hoping at that either the native or the bridged 32bit one will work... Ideal would of course be the 64bit, but the screenshots look too good to pass up, i'll just have to bridge it otherwise :).

Post

works great under Win7 x64 in REAPER x64 here.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I'm running Windows 7 64bit here and it works without any problem !
And Tony always offers 32bit/64bit version of his product by the way...

No worries, it WILL work. AFAIK, Johnny's the only user who experienced issues like that, and only in FL. The plugin has been widely tested in numerous hosts for about two months, from Nuendo to Logic to ProTools to Studio One. And Reaper of course...

which plug-in format is crashing FL?

I have found the FL VST3 implementation to be problematic, and also bridged 64 bit VST2 plug-ins. I recommend users of Endless Series (which is built with the framework that Klanghelm is using) to use the 32bit VST2 version in 32bit FL Studio.
