Sorry about the multiple-post reviews everyone, I'll do composites from now on. Still a newbie

Armadillo - Whoa! Lots going on! For me it's almost overwhelming. It also sounds over-compressed as well. It's cool though, I like the sounds.

liqih - Cool stuff! I think the song would be stronger without the accordian part during 0:34-0:40. Really cool sounds and a nice ambience. One of my favs! BTW, let us know what you used to get those cool sounds.

Ixox - It's very well produced and the recording isn't bad. The lyrical nostalgia is a bit depressing, but the major change at the chorus, or bridge, helps.

Mystahr - Very industrial, which isn't my style at all, so it's hard to comment on it. It's very "in your face", which helps with the genre and all. Good work.

Marc JX8P - Very professional sounding. I can hear it as movie credit music to an 80's sci-fi flick. Nice ambience.

beardedone - It's almost Weather Report-ish. A bit too meandering for me to dig it. It's done well, it's just sounding like jibberish to me. Perhaps my musical mind is not as advanced as yours. I'd have to slow it down a lot and play it over and over to figure out what you are doing.

Khepira - I like the Hendrix thing at the beginning, but it's kind of jolting the way it flows into the next part. I think this song would be much better if some time was spent mixing it more. I see what you're doing and you have a good base for that, keep working on it.

AndreasE - Nice composition! I think the stereo imaging might be changed to accent the song even more. It might sound better with NO panning, it might not, experiment some more.

t-willy - I'd like to hear the guitar throughout. If it is, then it is completely drowned out by the beat and synths. Don't be shy, bring that git up in the mix. The vocals are killer!

guitarcomputer - I hear some phase issues. Did you double parts and pan them hard left and right? That's what it sounds like on the drums and guitars. The voice at the end sounds too distant. I like the effect, but I think it would be stronger if you brought up the volume of the voice there. Try it and see what you think.

You - Cool sounds and a very airy mix, Nice! Exemplary use of compression. I dig the voice. It reminds me of a mix between Bono and Beck. The lyrics are cool as well. One of my favs! Could be radio worthy, although something about it seems outdated.

That's all for now, gonna give the ears a rest.
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".

No don't slow it down it will sound stupid. I know 'cause I play with tempos until I find the optimal one(s). Don't worry if it sounds like jibberish some people just find my music is just that. Or maybe just play backwards. Anyway thanks for the review and the comparison to one of my favorite bands. Much appreciated.

Cheers,
Gordon

   That's me in a nutshell!!! Thanks so much! I spent my childhood being ahead of my time - now I'm outdated! As Brian Wilson sang, "I guess I just wasn't made for these times."

I must admit that was the emotion / thought that entered my mind when I listened to the track from the bearded man, but the comment was very funny

thx freez :D the geetar is actually throughout the song and your exactly right - totally drowned out by the electronic stuff. thx for the vocal compliment. you'll probably see in the future that this sort of thing is not my usual style, but it was fun nontheless. thx again :)

Thanks! It is getting colder here now. 7 deg. celcius tonight.

This Sunday (tommorrow) I will be leaving for Brussels for my company. Just a one-day conference. Arrive Monday, leave Tuesday. The company won't allow us to stay any longer. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get a brief visit to the F1 factory before I get on the plane again :D
