I like that color.

I play guitar, but I just got my first bass. Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass. I know it's nothing special, but I got it for $120 brand new on clearance at Best Buy. I guess selling musical instruments didn't work out, so they're getting rid of everything.

I missed this, HNBD!!!!!

So I finally got my big brass block thing but I'm in no mood to futz with putting it in (just set someone up for that perfect quote :hihi: )

I gotta take off the strings  take off the springs and take the trem out  check the knife edges (since it's out) take off all the saddles  hope that no screws are stripped, check the arm holder (since it's off  ) then put it all back together and put new strings on it

I just can't be bothered right now :hihi:

I know the feeling, I just got 10 500k trimpots in the mail today...let's see how long it takes for those to get into my guitars
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Well, at least you don't have to change the strings with those :hihi:

Went out this morning looking for a light, shortscale bass guitar.
Arrived home with this.

It isn't shortscale and it sure as hell isn't light..
Sounds great though..Epiphone Zenith

I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Nice!

@brass block: What a steaming pile of waste of time that shit is. Hopefully the last sucker-punch I take with this garbage.

That's beautiful. I didn't know Epiphone is now making such good designs.

That's good to know. When you posted before about the purchase I visited the site and saw they have a brass block for the Wilkinson WV6SB I have in my P-90 Strat project.

Not that I have any complaints with the Wilkinson WV6SB, but you know how it is with the attraction of having a tinker.

I was considering ordering a block when I make an order for some new magnets.

I wont have to bother now. :hihi:

It doesn't fit  The whole point of this more expensive one was that it supposedly fit, I can't pull back.

Honestly, it was a bad experience. They took a month to get me one, shipped it to the wrong place at first.

I'm tired of trying to mod things.

Unfortunately, it's discontinued. This was old (untouched) stock.
here's the link anyway. :-)

The tone controls are detented, concentric high and low cut/boost for each pick-up. Sweepable blend between pick-ups. (bridge pick up is some trendy 7 layered magnetic thing that amplifies string and body movement).

Lolz, I traded in some ibby's a while ago and today one of them showed up on sevenstring

Hope he enjoys it! I just wasn't diggin' on it anymore.

How ironic that hibidy would make that declaration on the 300th page of this thread. ;)
