Hey guys
What are your thoughts on the TAL vsts?
Such as the UNO 60, dub 1,2&3, chorus, reverb, bassline, etc.
I want to keep to particular vsts and really hone my skills on them and get to know them well so I was thinking of sticking to the TAL line of vsts.
I also am wanting to produce music which sounds very much on the analog side, (motor city drum
Ensemble for example) ill be sampling a lot which will help but I don't have the money to buy analog gear, so what do you think is the best way to go about getting that analog feel? Particular vsts that could help? And any articles online about it too would be great!

TAL things are great and cheap. U-He a little more expensive but get the demos.

Try XILS Synths. Great analog sound, especially the PolyKBii.

Btw.

Oh yes she is not cheap and very expensive on cpu but she sounds very analog.

I would check also Tyrell N6 V3. it is an excellent VA synth. (free from u-he).

Good choice. I think if you're new to this, you can safely stick with the free TAL stuff for now. It gives you instant analog feel.

They're almost entirely emulations of Roland stuff though. If you want to try something else, check this for example: http://www.elektrostudio.ovh.org/index2 ... 7bd7771e1a Also, the stuff mentioned (Charlatan, Tyrell) is pretty nice.

My favourite from TAL is the Noisemaker btw, not a strict emulation, but pretty capable synth.
