Where you playing (poly)sax towards the end?

In Etruscan and Roman religious practice, a haruspex (plural haruspices) is a person trained to practice a form of divination called haruspicy, hepatoscopy or hepatomancy. Haruspicy is the inspection of the entrails (exta) of sacrificed animals, especially the livers of sacrificed sheep and poultry.

really liked how this changed over time between the percussion , then delayed sounds then to the mellow ending . kept me interested , great work

Instruments used:

Chromaphone - all the obvious mallet type sounds, all the drum sounds that aren't obviously a kit, plus the clicks, static and odd harmonics and the little bit that happens just before the piano is introduced.

Pianoteq - pianos, including the distorted one at the end that resembles guitar.

Superior Drummer - the kits in the outro.

Silk - the duduk solo at the end.

Synplant - doubles the duduk.

I think that's it...

Frantz - see above, just playing the Silk duduk in a very freestyle way.

Lovely work, Matt. I like the way this is put together. The first section suggests something primitive, almost tribal. I liked the delay on the piano and the drumkit and duduk sounded great.

High Court Judge by day, Haruspex by night. Conflict of interest?
