I do enjoy the video clips. The presets are fantastic, anyone that owns Iris really should to consider a subscription.

Infos for Set 29 which I just released:

Iris Subscription Set 29 uploaded on June 12- 2013 containing 6 presets (114.6 MB) including:

Altsax Multiphonic Dots
Oscillators 1+2 both use the sample of a multiphonic chord played on an alto sax. S1 uses a dotted spectral selection and S2 plays a horizontal spectral selection. Both oscillators run in Non-Retrigger mode.
The Modwheel controls multiple parameters, please open the "Mix" tab to see what is happening. M1 (x) adds random pitch modulation to S1, control the modulation speed with M2 (y). M3 controls Reverb Mix.

Dorian Horn Cloud
A sequence of harmonic glissandi (upwards) played on a french horn, processed with a granulator (crusherX) and the result retuned in Melodyne to a dorian scale. S1-3 play different segments and spectral aspects of the same long sample. Each oscillator has a LFO assigned to it's volume, they all run at different speeds, increase the speed of all 3 LFOs with Macro 4. Macros 1+2 control Delay Time/Mix, M4 reduces the LP cutoff.

Eternal Vibra
Another vibraphone beauty, I played a simple minor7 chord arpeggiated upwards, S1+2 play different spectral aspects of the same sample, S3 running in Non-Retrigger mode uses a processed derivative of this arpeggiated chord, bring it in with the Modwheel, which at the same time reduces the level of S1. Please check the Macro page to see how the 6 assigned Macros modify the sound.

Orchestral Magic
An orchestra warming up before the rehearsal of my composition Windschatten. I retuned this chaos with Melodyne to a pentatonic scale and did some other thing to the result as well. S1-3 play different spectral aspects and segments of this same long sample. S1+3 run in Non-Retrigger mode, bring in S3 with the Modwheel. Macro 1 increases the attack time of all 3 oscillators, M3+4 add differently shaped pitch modulation to S1+2, control the distortion amount of S3 with M5.

Tuning In
An orchestra tuning in before the rehearsal of my composition Windschatten.
S1 plays a broad spectral selection of this sample, bring it in with the Modwheel. S2 plays a very narrow spectral selection, both oscillators run in Non-Retrigger mode. Macro1+2 control LP cutoff and resonance, as the filter has an envelope applied to the cutoff, turning down M2 will make this enevelope curve audible, especially when the Modwheel is up. Add temposynced ampiitude modulation to S1 with Macro 3, Macros 4+5 control Chorus and Delay amount.

Violin Derivative
A sequence of fast violin arpeggios is used in S1+2. S1 plays a convoluted spectral selection of this sample, as the bandpass filter with a high resonance setting is follwing incoming midi pitch, you'll be able to play chords with distinct pitches. Turning up the Modwheel brings in the original violin sequence with no spectral selection, the MW also adds a slow filter modulation. Macros 1-3 control Reverb, Chorus and Distortion amount.

The subscription price has been upped to € 60 Euro.

I'm going to have to pick up a subscription when I get some cash. The presets sound beautiful. I dismissed Iris when it first came out as "redundant" for people like myself who have Absynth, Alchemy and Poseidon, but I revisited it and when one came up at a good price in the marketplace, I snagged it. Lovely instrument and very intuitive to use.

Thank's Mark - after over a year with Iris and hundreds of designed presets I must say that there is nothing like Iris. It's the visual features of the interface that make it so intuitive to use imo.
