It's got potential... and cross-marketing ideas are flowing... lunch boxes, poseable dolls... a restaurant chain! :hihi:
I agree. Please cast me as the wacky neighbor who comes over for late night jam sessions. :)

While you're weeping, Matt and I will be laughing all the way to the bank once the "Law and Disorder" syndication money comes in. Bwah Ha Ha Ha!

Tim, you don't want to be known as the Stu Sutcliffe of Law and Disorder... or maybe you do?

It's a point of principle, or artistic integrity. I just won't wear a skirt for prime-time.

What a brilliant piece Matt! Love how the delays are all playing off each other and how it evolves. Great use of space, classy mix and superb sounds as usual. Any chance of some info on your effects arsenal for this gem?

Great work dude!

Hey Sarah, great to hear from you, and cheers!

As to the effects... Echoboy is doing all the delays save one, the bubbly little delay on the opening track is FF Timeless. I should stress that Echoboy does some major sound shaping here as well, as I mentioned somewhere ^ up there the bit that comes in in the last part that sounds like guitar is actually just piano run through Echoboy.

No much after that... some Phasemistress on one of the drum tracks, and a few instances of Panman.

Thanks for the info Matt. It sounds really great. What reverb are you using? I'm working on a track myself at the moment which is very reverb heavy and its just a big messy mush! How do you manage to keep the clarity with all the delay and verb? Are you ducking? Side chaining? I might use this as a reference track for my mix! Anyway, keep up the excellent tuneage :-)

Oh yes, reverb... this is Valhalla Vintage Verb here. On a return channel in Live, straight up, nothing fancy like ducking or side chaining going on. The only thing I can think to recommend is to check your channel eqs and make sure you're not overloading the verb with a bunch of unnecessary freqs.

After years of Altiverb only I probably use VVV about 50% of the time now.

Excellent. I'm behind in my cafe listening, but this is a great reminder of what I've been missing. Thanks, polyslax.
