FWIW i can't crash any IPlug plug-ins on FLStudio 10 or 11 on Win7 x64 in the manner that you show in the videos (repeatedly opening/closing the gui). Very peculiar.

Folks, please help the dev out. A little more specs than your OS would be nice.
Like:
What CPU do you use?
Do you use FL in 64bit or 32bit?
Do you run your profile as admin or as "restricted user"?
Which plugin version do you use?
I am trying to narrow down certain intuitions, which might help fixing the problem for those users that experience crashes.

Well I checked it out yesterday.
I don't like the fact that it wants you to send it about 0 db signal yet there is no measurement display for the input trim. The sound was like a basic saturation plugin, didn't play with the asymetry knob much though.

Not quite true:
IVGI has a VU mode switch: In, Out-In and Out.
The Trim pushes or pulls back the signal towards/from the 0VU. You can use it, but if your signal is setup to peak in/hover around -18dBFS/0VU already anyway, there is no need to use the trim knob.
Everything else comes post-trim.

Another quality product, super job sir. Runs great on ye olde Podium. Even though it is a specific model, I find myself using it on just about anything and it does well. SDRR will be a beast...thanks!

Yes, thanks so much, Tony. I think I like it best tuned to the high mids. Tuned low it seems to lo-fi things pretty radically, though that may work well in parallel on some things, or just if that darkness is what you're going for.

So, with a high regard for the work Tony has done so far with DC8C, I am intrigued with these new plug-in's and asking myself, based on what I can figure, how I would use it in my workflow?
I organize my VST folder by organizing all of my plug-ins in separate folders. For instance, I have separate folders for Compressors, EQ's, Reverbs, Filter/distortion, Delays/chorus', soft synths, and also one called 'tube/tape/console' where I keep NLS, Satson, Studar, Ampex, Reelbus, and little radiator. So the question is, is this more like an all out distortion box or is this more like VCC, Satson or NLS where it is imparting more subtle distortions that would be associated with, say - the benefits of analog summing? Would it generally replace instances of NLS and Satson?, or does it more serve in instances where I need to really grit up and destroy a track?
Perhaps IVGI/SDRR is designed to do both tasks equally?, or was one more intended but it also kinda does the other fairly well too?
