<EDIT>

You can download the Firebird synth itself here:
http://www.tone2.com/html/firebird_vsti ... zer_1.html
...then get the patches in this message :).

<END EDIT>

As Tone2 said they will be releasing Firebird+ as freeware soon, I've made my old "Decay" soundset freeware. You can download it here:

http://xenossoundworks.com/firebird.html

Keep in mind these patches are more for film scoring and special effects rather than melodies and basslines, though I have a few of those in there.

PRODUCT INFO:

Decay is a bank of 43 dark and moody sounds inspired by urban exploration. Think decaying buildings, asbestos hazards, old machinery, used syringes laying on the ground, forgotten memories, shattered glass, and the adrenaline rush and undercurrent of fear you get when you are snooping around someplace you aren't supposed to be. The sounds in the Decay soundset are fitting for musicians of all different tastes wishing to inject some creepy mojo into their tracks.

You're welcome, guys :). Hehe I just had a playthrough of this set - definitely had a love affair with cacophonous noise at the time this set was created. More meant for horror/thriller movie scores and special effects rather than melodic tracks.

I bought the other one and got this one free ? I think ? 6+ months back or so, between the 2, worth the $4-$5 (U.S.) or so, by far. :) If you don't have mine yet, pm me, I'd be happy to share with you as well. :)

Hey thanks, man :). Glad you enjoyed those. Just browsed through Pyromania this morning and it was definitely an interesting trip down memory lane as well. Ever play through your old soundsets and notice how your style has changed over the years?

Or music, things I wrote, graphics, or even just looking at the clothes in my closet, yes, yes, yes, and yes ha-ha. :hihi: In the case of Firebird though, I really do feel like it halfway "lead me in a certain direction", just because of how it sounds a lot of the time. And I still use it (Firebird) to this day, so I think it's a good thing that it has it's own kind of sound. :)

Very generous, indeed. Thanks!

Here's some of my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/shadowsoflife. If you hear something you like, I'm looking for collaborators.

Y'all are welcome :). Once I finish this Chromaphone set I'm working on, I've got some time to do a new free bank for another payware synth. Probably FM8. That approach seems to work better than charging for everything, IMHO.

Will these work in Firebird, not Firebird+?
