Hi, I wan't to how to build my own midi controller using some parts from my AKAI Professional MPD18! could anyone give me some instructions or tutorial videos on anything like it. I don't now much about this technology and I cant afford some parts because I'm a little low on money. Could anyone help me please?

Yeah man, but you have to be more specific. MPD18 is a drum controller, what exactly do you want to do to build a "new" controller. Start there, tell us what your vision.
BTW: what's wrong with just using the MDP18, as is, is it broken? If so, in what way?

If you could get some parts from a whack-a-mole game you could create a nice hybrid drum set.
