Seems that I'm buying Spure. I thought that these bases are covered in my rig by Sylenth and Ana, but this thing sounds so damn sweet. Our Russian government always says that we must support our domestic manufacturers, seems that I've finally got a chance to do so.
How long the intro price will last?

I've tried the AU and VST and I'd have to say with my admittedly old MacBook it's not usable... I admit i need to get a new computer, (now) but there are a lot of synths that sound good and don't eat this much cpu? I'm still waiting on word if this is optimized better on the PC or the Mac version needs work?

I'm on a relatively old quadcore PC (bought it in 2009) and I can't of course say that Spire is light on CPU, but neither I can say that it is unusable. Some factory patches give pretty big CPU hit but none of them maxes out the CPU power.

I shouldn't have said unusable... some of the patches are usable but to use it in compositions i.e. on pads and lead sounds which are excellent, I'd have to freeze tracks even in Logic. Still like the gui and sounds though.

I keep hearing the word freezing or re-sampling as a cure but truth be known that isn't the answer.
Reveal have said they will optimize Spire ..that's the answer.

A good man shared his experience as Europeans can buy the Spire at the same price as the rest of the world.

Stepper is almost ready, it remains to solve the problem with the graphics on the Mac.
Will soon publish an update as well as new presets.
Then the Arpeggiator.
And finally Spire will be optimized.

I don't think that's a russian location.
Maybe developer can explain what's going on... hope it's not money laundry.

I freeze things quite often.Usually not because of the synth itself, but because of processing with cpu taxing plugins. Cannot say I'm frustrated with that. In Studio One it takes hitting one knob. It is still much easier than record tons of hardware synths, i guess.aquar wrote:DHR53 wrote:I shouldn't have said unusable... some of the patches are usable but to use it in compositions i.e. on pads and lead sounds which are excellent, I'd have to freeze tracks even in Logic.
