'Parachuting Down to a Supersaw Welcome'


Story (Final happy ending to the trilogy of Nature was the machine, and Space ship Aalto)
-The robots chatter for a moment, then realize they are getting close to planet BongThong X-69100 - their home planet - which also looks very similar to the Swiss countryside. The exit hatch is open, and they fly out, and parachute down to earth. A Supersaw melody is heard in the distance, getting louder, and louder. Dancing in the air ensues… on the ground, then in the pubs, and fields. These Feldspar model robots really put out a great emulation of the jp-8000. It was a good adventure, but a happier ending to the people of BongThong people.

Sorry for long list.

Description : SMI - SFT, a hard but trippin drum n bass journey (I hope :p). First week of the month I slept (too tired from OSC 52 ). Then I spent 2 weeks programming patches while I had free time, and a few unrelated loops.

Then on week 4 my comp was so overcharged that I could only hear crackles, awful ! So I tried to update feldspar, but my presets were not working anymore ! Hopefuly I went back to previous version. So then I tried to fix a latency peak on my comp. But I broke windows logon ! After struggling like hell I managed to return to windows, but then my cpu was like crazy, always peaking for nothing. After another painful fight I finally revert to normal. So I had to finish the track by guessing, because of audio drop outs and crackle. With only 3 nights left before the deadline. So finally I'm really relieved I managed to finish it, I apologize already for the incoherent storyline and the harsh sound that could damage your ears

Since it seems my Ogg compression or soundcloud made the track sound a little bit glitchy and louder basses (or maybe I didn't sleep enough ??) I will upload a FLAC version on my dropbox later for those who wants to hear in HQ.

I always do. I'm on the opposite side, I like people uploading lossless files. That's why I'm so angry with the naming of the files.

I knew I'd make some trouble this time, I was too hasty ... sorry.

I corrected the info on the effects in my posting above, and also on Soundcloud. From Nuendo 6 I used the Compressor, Maximizer, Limiter and REVerence (mainly for the Drums and the Bass). I also used in some instances the EQ, but only to polish the sound a little bit. Extern effects were You Wa Shock and the BitCrusher (not the loudmax, my mistake, hmmm...)

Sounds like I saved your day, too. Sorry for the trouble, it wasn't meant like an advanced form of "download-protection"

Let me know if I should upload an extra, smaller file of this version. Anyway, next time I'll keep in mind not to render with my usual settings.

AFAIK, there's no rule about updating your own artwork... you are free to upload a new image when you want
