1 point maximum sounds good to me.
Yes I guess it has to be this way for now, so:

New Rule:
Max 1 point to your own entry

Must say it's quite refreshing to see all entries with a score when peeking at the scoreboard. Still too early to say if the new voting system is a success or not as there are other reservations, let's see after.

For me is good the method used by sdcompo, a page where you have a drop down menu with the names of partecipants, and you get to vote only for 5, (not yourself) from 1 to 5 (where 1 is the best, 1st). Voting for all is difficult, there is a risk to give wrong valutation: you have to vote only for the best! Or you have to add 0 points in the choice, and add a control that the sum of your voting is 1+2+3+4+5=15!

We just had vote on this and the majority wanted this new system with votes for all on a 1-5 scale.

Great amount of tracks with top notch quality.
I enjoyed many of them this month, and also, those are in my playlist.

So thanks for sharing your art, feelings and style.

Have a nice day and good luck everyone :)

What is the structural integrity of a compound when it is broken down to its wave form?

The same as everything else that surrounds it.

Most excellent challenge with a lot of top notch submissions this time! After the first run through and commenting on SoundCloud I had 21 tracks on the 5-point-list. Too much - so I decided to downgrade the rest to one point less and had a proper listen with downloaded files of my top tracks to decide whether to give 4 or 5 points. Then there where still 11(!) tracks left with 5 points. No more room to differentiate  - so I went to voting.

Listening to all of your tracks has been very rewarding. So thank you for participating!

Cheers

Great works, tones of creativity and ideas — it's so nice.
As for me, my favorites are: Photonic, SJM, bzur, z.prime

Once again, another OSC with a wealth of great new tracks to add to my MP3 player. Thank you to all of the participants (entrants and voters), moderators, and prize donators for contributing to another fun One Synth Challenge.

An extra special thank you goes out to the author of Feldspar for so generously awarding his Blarg VSTi to all of the contest entrants -- this may be a new precedent, as I'm not sure if there has ever before been a prize awarded to ALL of the OSC entrants.

A big shout-out goes to all of those entrants who have shared or will be sharing their custom Feldspar presets with the KVR community -- I think this has been a really nice trend that I hope continues to be followed in future OSCs. For anyone interested, my custom presets have been uploaded to KVR and can be found at the following URL: http://www.kvraudio.com/banks.php?s=dl&id=1904

Also for the spirit of sharing, another big shout-out goes to any and all entrants who share their music project and/or music-making tips with the KVR community.

To all entrants, congratulations on meeting the monthly challenge and good luck in the contest!

Cheers.

Ian Webster from Krakli donated RMP2 to all participants when Krakli OSC (but i didn't know OSC in that epoque and i missed it hehe), so this is the second time done.

Have a nice day :)

There was only 1 track which got only 1 point - mine :D

I thought I will only give one point to a track, which is a fail to my ears, where I can hear no concept or effort. But there was none of them. Even if I do not like the result, I can hear the idea and/or some good sounds.
Emotional it was a real different thing to vote according the new rules in comparision to the old ones. The old ones were much easier for me, because I had only to vote for those I liked best.
But the new rules are maybe more fair, because we are forced to listen to all tracks again and more carefully.

Same here. I just voted with one point to my track, and from 2 to 4 to the rest, and i think just one or two tracks with 5 points.

Have a nice day :)
