I don't think that's a russian location.
Maybe developer can explain what's going on... hope it's not money laundry.

I think, that's because these Russian bastards are going to steal your money and rape your wife. We always do so.pinkpanther wrote:It looks like team is Russian indeed but why money has to go to a Caribbean country?recursive one wrote:AFAIK one of the devs is Russian. It's up to you, of course, but i just can't figure out why you need to know this. You pay the money, you get your synth. Or someone here DIDN'T get the license having paid?

Maybe you can try to figure it out harder...recursive one wrote:It's up to you, of course, but i just can't figure out why you need to know this. You pay the money, you get your synth. Or someone here DIDN'T get the license having paid?
But i'll give you a hint:
Tax money pays for your grandma when she's at the hospital and it pays for your children's education. This system only works if ALL of us pay taxes. The keyword is "solidarity".

Thank you for caring about my grandma. But let's see how all this started. I said that one of reveal sound guys is Russian native. I dunno whether he still lives in Russia, whether the rest of the team are Russians, whether they pay their taxes, their bills, whether they steal food in supermarkets and whatever. And i still don't think it is of any relevance to the tread as long as they are fair to their customers.Crackbaby wrote:Maybe you can try to figure it out harder...recursive one wrote:It's up to you, of course, but i just can't figure out why you need to know this. If the CPU load was the same as sylenth1 this would be a no brainer. Maybe the high CPU could be helped by having real bypass switches for the effects and not just a dry/mix knob.

Just as a side note, what I don't understand is why some programmers are hiding their mother country...
For example, I have bought SynthMaster not only because of all the huge sound shaping possibilities but also because it's from Turkey, and I think it's a great country with great people and great culture and great music, and if I can support some people in Turkey, then it's a great thing.
So it would be nice to know what country the programmers of Spire are from and where they live...

Hi,
Does anyone know if Spire can do 2 operators to 1 carrier for FM?
I'm playing with the FM oscillators and trying to do some of the configurations like the Yamaha DX7.
Best regards,
Gino

I think I've figured this out.
All you need to do is map Osc2 to Osc1_Amp.
Once you do that, you can set Osc2 to low volume (yellow enabled, but not audible) and hear it's modulation through Osc1.
I kept trying to use Osc2 to mod Osc1_Phase and Osc1_Pitch and that wasn't going anywhere. Once I modded the amp, and used the FM oscillators I'm getting all sorts of cool FM sounds
Best regards,
Gino
