Several other apps are free as well.
The Verge is keeping track of what is being offered. Hopefully more will become added to the freeby anniversary sale.

I would love to get it, but I don't know what I would do with it. I don't do DJ style stuff. Would it be useful for someone who doesn't know anything about using a DJ mixer?

Get it, and then delete it. That way, it is purchased and if you ever need it you can download it for free.

I wish I had IOS 6.

I also wish I could somehow download it, so it is in my account when I do get ios 6.

Can't you purchase it using iTunes and download it to your PC?

I dont either (ipad1)

so ive 'bought' it using itunes on a PC so its in my account. hopefully it will remain until i get a later device and then be able to redownload it.

Do not worry,I do that too often.
When it's on your acount you don't have to redownload it.
It stays there forever.

Surely there are ways to creatively misuse it without doing straight up DJ stuff...
